River was preparing to dodge the razor wind and wolf’s attack when Bridgit made it easy for her and backed up, allowing River to step out of the way of both attacks, possibly leaving the girl Horo to be hit by the wind. Stepping towards Bridgit to continue the attack River dropped into the splits to avoid Bridgit’s stomach attack, rolling to the side to dodge the round house kick, and stood up again as she dodged the knife aimed at her leg, allowing it to cut the arm of a girl who was lying unconscious behind her. River then without turning or pausing in her attacking of Bridgit, leveled her pistol at the boy in the rafters and fired of a deadly accurate shot towards his hand and the rifle. no unnecessary deaths and re-holstered her gun. River using her speed affinity stepped closer to Bridgit and swung both arms out, aiming to cut across Bridgit’s chest and arms, and swung her leg around to roundhouse kick Bridgit’s head before doing a backwards flip to get out of range, and aiming to hit Bridgit again with her feet.
Stein turned towards the door as someone called her first name Eris, remembering that off-dog smell from when she was younger...it was Fang. Turning back to Mekura she responded “Yes Mekura” and turned to see Fang pushing students towards the courtyard “Fang! Where are you going? The Kakuzetsu is this way” Stein finished as she used her metal affinity to redirect the students Fang was pushing towards the Kakuzetsu. Dog brain
River heard a new voice enter the gym and turned to see Fang and Stein talking to her 3rd target, Mekura her brain provided the name of the target, and Stein, her 4th target. River drew her pistol and fired at Stein from across the gym aiming for her head. The shot would have killed Stein, if it hadn't been for the screw. The bullet ricochet off the screw, causing it to click several times.
Stein felt the screw turn several times and fell over, twitching. the screw had messed with her central nervous system. she’d regain control in a minute, but whatever had hit the screw had really hurt.
...................................
Seriously?! Everyone has to be a damn hero?! Zeran complained to himself as he watched everyone's efforts unfold in their attempts to stop River. They were making Zeran's actions much harder. He crawled along the ceiling like a lizard, waiting for the right moment to drop down and attack River.
River still seemed to be on the offensive, so Zeran decided to switch tactics. He replaced his tanto and pulled out a length of chord, the rest remaining in his storage space. It seemed like as good a time as any so, Zeran dropped from ceiling over where he predicted River's movements to take her, proceeding to try and get her in contact with the chord, preferably around the throat before applying a rather powerful shock. Not anything lethal, just enough to knock River out if his attack succeeded.
Manco deflected the thrown knife with his sword. Shit, and I'm the loony here? Manco thought to himself, thinking about the company around him. Crazy girl acting much younger than she was, this girl who randomly shot a teacher. At least it might be an interesting crowd for a good fight.
Suddenly, Manco noticed that Horo was in danger of getting hit by his attack. In a burst of speed, he disappeared, then upon reappearing had slammed into Horo to get her out of the way of the attack. "Sorry, couldn't stand the thought of a pretty face like yours getting cut." Manco said before spinning to face River again.
......................................
As soon as River pointed her weapon at Alex, he vanished in a small puff of smoke. Reappearing a short distance behind Mekura he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
“My bad, I had no idea what it did. Just did what Alvion said.” He shrugged, laying his rifle across his shoulders. “If you’re pissed, take it up with him. Let me know if you need some help moving them.” Alex vanished in another burst of smoke appearing behind Manco as he knocked Horo out of the way. Alex slapped his shoulder to get his attention.
”So...you know how I’m always tryin to get you to calm down? Yeah, screw that. This bitch needs to be taught a lesson.”
.......................................
Horo smirked as Manco brushed her out of the path of his own attack. Her plans were coming together smoothly. ”I’m glad you recognize beauty when it presents itself.” Manco grinned in response to Horo, then laughed. ”Sexy and you know it, I like it.” Manco replied.
With a grin Horo affirmed Manco’s statement. ”Damn straight! Love who you are!” Horo took a look at Alex and admired his rifle. ”That’s a rather large piece of hardware you have there. How’s your aim?”
Alex did a double take as he looked around to find who had just spoke. He shrugged with a smug smile.
“Well typically I like to be point blank...oh wait, you meant the fusion rifle? Eh, I’m decent. What of it?”
Horo nodded with a large smile, gauging the possible tactics she could employ against River. A thought grew in her mind. ”Manco, generate another one of those wind blades, I’ll use my pulse to keep it close to my body and then roll up into a ball. You will then launch me at the crazy girl. I’ll roll in like a cuddly ball of death! Poofy.” Horo started, pointing at Alex. ”Everytime I miss, teleport behind me and redirect my spinning ball of death back at her, and provide cover fire in the meantime. We’ll be able to gauge her abilities with this and devise a better strategy.”
Zeran decided to respond to Horo’s idea. ”Here’s a thought, shut up, sit down, let the pro handle this.” Zeran commented. He was a bit annoyed with how others were now completely ignoring him, but it was preferable to being noticed by River, he guessed.
”Ignore him, I like the idea.” Manco replied.
”Yes because a few first year students will be able to easily take down someone who just took out a teacher here.” Zeran commented. Where the hell is that lazy ass Erebus? Greatest Prodigy my ass if he hasn’t figured out this might be a good time to help out.”
”Hey, who the hell asked you anyway clanky? Go run around in the rafters some more, it might distract her.”
Horo lifted her hands between the two. ”We are using this to gauge her ability. We can make a better strategy after that. You can’t play chess if you don’t know the other players.” ”So, seeing her take out a teacher and avoid all of our attacks isn’t a gauge enough? Wonderful. I spend several minutes clinging from the ceiling watch you all and her and you think I can’t come up with a good strategy.” Zeran responded. ”And reacting to the situation at hand is part of chess. Anyone can change up their strategy at any time.”
Alex was starting to get rather annoyed with Zeran. Who the hell is this guy annyway? An idea came to his mind and a smile crossed Alex’s face. He walked up to Zeran to talk into his face.
”You know what buddy? You’re right. We’re all incompetent children and you know best. Why don’t you go show us what all that wonderful brain power of yours can do.” As he finished his sentence, Alex poked the front of Zeran’s chest, teleporting him right in front of River.”

“Really?” Stein asked Alex. She had stood up, clicking the screw several times and was standing directly behind him. She was dwarfed by his 6-foot some stature, but she radiated authority.
”Holy shi-” There was a series of six rapid pops as Alex instinctively teleported away from the person he hadn’t noticed sneak up on him.
Stein used her metal affinity to to drag him back to her as he tried to teleport away. She could only pull him by his boots and gun, but it seemed to be working. When he was once again standing in front of her she glared at him “Crude humor during a fight, then teleporting a fellow teammate directly into a fight between Bridgit and River who just shot a teacher...how thoughtless can you be?”
Alex held his hands up submissively as he was dragged in. Judging by the pull being focused on his gun and boots, he guessed her ability was based around metal.
”What you call crude humor, I call cleverly timed.” Alex paused as he looked the small girl up and down. ”Rather than asking why I teleported a supposed ‘teammate’ in front of the enemy, I’d rather ask...didn’t you get shot in the head? Because, you know, people usually die when that happens.”
“I figured with you being a sniper specialist, and so highly demanded by the military you’d have better vision than most, but” Stein turned her head to show Alex the screw, which now had a bullet lodge in it. “River shot the screw, not my head, though she was close to killing me.”
Alex snapped his fingers in disappointment.
“Shit, now I owe that dick ten bucks. I coulda sworn that thing was a hat. I’m sorry, do you want me to...” Alex reached out tentatively towards the screw as he studied how the bullet was lodged. “That musta stung like a son-of-a-bitch.”
Stein slapped his hand away before he could touch the screw. “Didn’t your mother teach you not to touch other peoples stuff without permission. and It did hurt, It’s tapped into the central nervous system at the moment.”
”Well, she certainly tried, though that didn’t work out too well for most of the start of my life. Seriously though, I can get that out...probably.”
Stein rolled her eyes, snapped her fingers and pulled the bullet out herself, allowing it to land in her palm. More importantly, bring Zeran back here before he’s killed”
”Yeah, I’m gonna have to say negative on that one. Teleporting things that I’m not touching takes more focus than I’m willing to expend for Mr. Clanky. Besides, I’d much rather see him stick his robotic boot, up his own tender ass.”
“Fine.” Stein replied before crossing her arms and looking up at Alex. “I’m not the one that has to explain to Alvion how Zeran was killed because you teleported him into a fight that he could have stayed out of. Why don’t you head down to the Kakuzetsu then, and help Fang move passed out students. Cool tech by the way” Stein said tucking Alvion’s orb into her coat pocket “I’m very curious how you built this...and what encouraged you to use it at that moment.”
Alex laughed outright once.
”See the thing about annoying people like him, is that they NEVER die, even when you want them to. Also, you mighta missed it, but he asked me to let him take care of it. I just did what he wanted.” Alex eyed the orb. ”Yeah, not mine. That’s Alvion’s toy but I doubt he made it. Prolly forced Metatron to do it like the rest of the little gadgets he uses. I used it because those were Alvion’s instructions. I told the same thing to professor Nezumi; if you have a problem with it take it up with him.” Alex was half annoyed with the small girl picking a fight with him, and half amused that she continued to argue given the current situation. He wondered which part of him would last longer. ”What’s your name anyway squirt?”
Alex hadn't been paying attention, but while he and Stein were arguing Stein had been continuing to move students towards Fang and the Kakuzetsu. She now pulled out her hoverboard and sat on it allowing it to hover where it maintained her previous height. “My name is Doctor KieranStein, but just call me Stein” Stein leaned back and looked at Alex intently while twisting the screw twice with her left hand as she said “You’re Alexander Withurst, 16 year old human, blood type A+, and repeating your first year. You are a specialist in sniping and survival skills, and are highly requested by every branch of the military. So why are you here?” She asked him.
Stein had struck Alex’s sore spot. His smile faded and he turned away.
“Well ya see, the thing about the military is they like their murderers good and edu-ma-cated.” Alex purposely drew out the last word. ”It’s not something a goody girl genius like yourself would understand. Prolly got that fancy title in front of your name years ago didn’t ya? Well squirt,” Alex turned around and flicked her forehead. ”Why not use that fancy noggin of yours to sort this shit out. If ya can’t, just leave it to us murderers to do what we do best.”
As Alex flicked Stein’s forehead he received a painful shock. “I worked hard for my doctorate, I wasn’t born with skills, i had to acquire them. And as to your lovely list of assumptions I-”
Mekura was beside them in seconds as she seemed to stare off into space watching the battle between Bridgit and River. She was mapping out patterns to River’s moves and was surprised to find most of them were similar to nigaran battle patterns. ”Stein. Personal info should stay personal. Not to be brought up in an emergency. Alex teleporting Zeran in the middle to that was terrible team work. Guess I’ll have to talk to Alvion about Teamwork assignments.” Walking up to Alex she
seemed to meet his eyes as she reached up and ruffled his hair. ”Murderers can be good or bad. Just gotta pick which one to be. Or you could be a firearms teacher!” With that she moved away from the two as she continued to observe the battle knowing it would take a bit more than what River was currently dishing out to beat Bridgit.
...................................................
Bridgit fell backwards giggling dodging Rivers attacks. When River has flipped out of the way another toy was place between them. Oh but she still wanted to play with the River dolly. Catching herself mid-fall she flipped herself into a standing position and looked at her new prey. Tilting her head she studied the boy before her wondering what his blood looked like. Suddenly she grinned at him and another insane giggle escaped her lips. Taking a step forward she seemed to disappear then reappear behind him. Bending space was easy while Alex was struggling. The insanity left everything unstable in their mind. Of course this boy wouldn’t know that it was Alex who controlled space. She didn’t know this dolly. Oh well she wanted to play with the other dolly right now. She would play with him later. Running the tip of her dagger down his spine she turned and skipped toward River. ”We will play later Mr. Dolly!”
Giggling she kicked out at River before swinging out with with the dagger in her left hand now toward Rivers stomach. When she stepped backwards, like Bridgit predicted she would, she switched the dagger to her other hand and attempted to cut Rivers left arm that was exposed.
Zeran quickly got a hold of his bearings after Alex teleported him than dodged the knife. ”Gimme a break.” Zeran commented before locking his sights on River. He retrieved his Colt Python and his knife, then got ready. School rules be damned, I am a fuckmothering Melanthios assassin, and that twit should be getting a bullet to the head over this bullshit.
Zeran removed his eyepatch and stashed it away. This was no time to limit himself. He made a dash for River, significantly decreasing the distance by extending his legs and immediately went for her throat with his knife, pointing his gun at Bridgit in case she tried anything.
Bridgit easily dodged all of River’s attacks. River then stepped back, and a little to the side to dodge River’s knife attack. When Bridgit then reversed direction of her knife and slashed at River’s arm she dodged most of the blow, but the knife tip still broke skin, leaving a fine red line across River’s left bicep. River heard Zeran’s thought and was thinking to herself Always follow the rules....bullet in the brain-pan, squish River let both hands hang loose by her side as she sheathed one of her daggers. At the last second she planted her right foot, and lunged out with her left, to dodge Zeran’s attack and allowing Zeran to possibly trip over her extended right leg. She in the same instant pulled her pistol and fired a shot aimed at his head.
Horo gasped as Alex teleported Zeran into the fray of battle so obediently. Her thoughts were quick to decide that he would also have to be made a member of her club. ”Manco, new plan. Follow Zeran’s lead but don’t kill anyone. Apply pressure on both of those girls, but focus on the creepy one who is somehow keeping her balance while dancing around in four inch heels.” Horo turned away from the warriors and raced over to Jena’s side. She shook the girl, trying to force her to regain consciousness. ”Come on Jena, I need more hands on deck for this to work.” Horo’s mind was loud with her own boisterous voice. ’If I can wake Jena, she can take the wounded girl to Chrystalline for healing. There may still be time to save her, but regardless, Chrystalline will surely send reinforcements to help with this matter.” Horo began slapping Jena’s face and shaking her left and right, but the girl refused to awaken. In a fit of anger Horo gently placed Jena’s head back onto the floor. ’Oh, well.’ Horo thought, ’I’ll do it myself.’ Horo stood up and ran over to Blair, picking her body off the floor and slinging it over her shoulders. ’I’m sorry, but it will be easier to carry you this way.’
Horo carefully and quickly began for the door. ’I may not like the guy, but Alvion will clear this mess up in no time.’ Horo made it to the door and tugged hard. The thick material rattled slightly but refused to budge. ”Professor Mikura! Open the doors!”
Bridgit blinked as a gun was pointed at her head. She barely registered a small gasp from the corner of the gym. Giving Zeran a big ol’ grin, she sliced the palm of hand and solidified the blood now running down her fingers. Giggling she twirled on her heel and placed her hand on the barrel of the gun for a split second before kicking out at Zeran. When her hand pulled away his gun was then covered in a red diamond substance. ”Alright Mr. Dolly we can play now! I don’t mind sharing my playtime with the dolls!”
Over in the direction of where the gasp came from was a child of about ten years old. Her hair was pitch black to the point it glinted purple, and her eyes, which were black with a ring of red around the edge, were glued to the girl in the pink dress and stilettos. When her sister had a gun pointed at her she had accidentally let out a gasp. Her hiding spot was probably exposed now. She needed to remember the rest of the song Bridgit had been singing. Briar knew that the rest of the song must be the key to making her stop. She didn’t like this River who was so deadly.
Horo stopped tugging at the door and turned her head towards the gasp. Hiding under the bleachers was a girl, who looked in the face to be about 10 or 11. Horo shrugged and laid the bleeding Blair down, taking no care to the blood that was now on her shoulder.”Mikura! Get this woman some medical help!” Horo shouted as she leaned forward and began running around the edge of the gym, keeping her distance from the battle. ’Why did a little girl have to be here? She could get kil- no I won’t let that happen.’ Horo slid to a stop and knelt down. ”Hey, my name is Horo and I’m going to keep you safe from those scary girls over there. OK?” Horo extended her hand to Briar with a confident smile.
Mekura looked in Horo’s direction and shook her head. Didn’t Horo understand that Blair was already dead? Her heart had been stopped too long for it to be restarted now. Turning her attention back to River she thought she had her battle patterns down now.
Briar looked up at Horo as she came over and promised to protect her from the scary girls. Suddenly words written in fire were in front of them. ’I’m not scared of them. The one in the pink dress is my sister! The boy with white hair is pointing a gun at her!’ From the worried look on her face she seemed to be telling the truth about it. ’You have to stop him from hurting my sister! Please!’
Horo blinked at Briar a few times as she registered what the small girl was saying. ”That is your sister?” Horo’s eyes were wide with disbelief, but they quickly softened. as she placed her hands on Briar’s shoulders. ”You poor child.” Horo weighed the options of telling Zeran not to attack the crazy girl in pink, but decided that he would probably only actually attack if provoked by the woman. ”Ok, lets go!” Horo scooped Briar up with a quick spin and placed the girls stomach on her dry shoulder. She made a break for Kakuzetsu as she spoke. ”Sorry, but I can’t make that promise little one. Your sister has a few too many loose screws if I have the expression right! My friend’s life is worth the worry!”
The moment Zeran saw Bridgit move (which was a bit after her contact with his gun due to his distraction with River) he pulled the trigger on his revolver. Fortunately, while diamond had gotten inside of the barrel, it hadn’t covered it, causing the the bullet to veer off course upon leaving the gun. Meanwhile, he dodged out of the way of River’s bullet, moving as though to get himself tripped, but extending his leg at the last moment to boost out of the less advantageous spot between both now potential enemies and hopefully cause damage to River’s leg.
Zeran spun to face River as he checked his gun to see what had caused it to misfire as it had. ”Shit.” he swore upon seeing the crimson diamond substance in the barrel. He replaced the colt python and pulled out his Mateba. Unfortunately, this meant his couldn’t shoot effectively one handed because of the power of the Casull ammo. If my fucking Colt Python is ruined, there’s going to be hell to pay. Zeran was rather fond of that gun. It was reliable and the model was generally hard to come by. He decided to change tactics, taking a stance like he would lunge at River and then bombarding her with storm of small, sharp shards of ice.
Zeran’s robotic leg almost hit River’s leg, but River used her speed affinity to spin her leg around the back and stand up to turn. She turned towards the bleachers where there’d been a sound and saw Horo running off with a small child. Briar. 2nd target She absorbed all the light from the 10X10 foot radius around her, plunging Manco, Zeran, and Bridgit into darkness. She then pulled her pistol and fired 3 shots aimed around Horo’s feet to startle Horo into dropping Briar. As everyone turned to see who had fired the shots River released the stored up light, creating a blinding burst. As the light exploded and as everyone was blinded River speed affinity ran towards Briar, pulling a fresh dagger; She was planning on slitting Briar’s throat as soon as, or before Horo dropped her. River ran up and was about to cut Briar’s throat but, Horo’s slight twitch in reaction to the light and movements caused River to miss, and cut Briar’s arm instead.
Horo spat at the ground, mocking the missing bullets. ”I hate guns! Sorry about this.” Horo closed her eyes as the dark sphere formed and coxed the particles in her body to activate a transformation. As River released the blast of light, Horo’s eyes were safely shut in focus. Her ears twitched and warned her to shuffle to the side as her body dropped onto all fours. Horo held tightly onto Briar’s shirt with her mouth and with pulse Horo stabilized Briar on her back. Horo opened her eyes and sighed as she spotted the blood dripping from Briar’s arm onto her fur. Returning her gaze forward, Horo released the full power of her legs and achieved an amazing speed of 35 mph within 3 seconds, while keeping her mobility (turns are wide, mind you). Horo strained her mind and began pulling air into a cone around her body. Through gritted teeth she shouted ”Maa~aK~O! Ba~re~ Shl~ash be~ee ~OW!” Horo was hoping the boy would recognize her instruction to enact their original plan of Horo ball of death attack, save this time it would be a cone/drill and not a ball.

Bridgit smirked as Mr. Dolly put the gun with the red diamond on it. Without even hesitating she spread the diamond all over to the other weapons in his arsenal causing them to all stick together. If he pulled out one weapon all the weapons would come out. Grinning she skipped over to him and ran her fingers along his jawline before disappearing as she took a step forward and appearing behind him. "Dollies are so much fun!" Giggling she looked toward River as the light started to disappear. Her eyes widened and knew she needed to get off the floor or risk being blinded. Unwilling to leave her dollie she grabbed the back of his shirt and twisted the space around them as she stepped back onto the rafters and allowed the space to return to normal.
Above all the chaos on the floor Bridgit balanced on the beams with Zeran. Skipping away from him she moved to another beam. "Come come Mr. Dolly. Lets play since you were so eager!" Giggling insanely she twirled around on the rafters as if she wasn't a hundred yards from the floor or anything.
”You’re annoying.” Zeran commented, unawares of the state of his arsenal. He was slightly disoriented by the change in location, but decided setting his Vintorez to automatic would be a nasty surprise for Bridgit. He went to retrieve the gun and . . .
All his guns were stuck together by the red diamond substance. Zeran seethed with anger. ”You’re dead.” Zeran commented, coldly. He wasn’t really exaggerating, either, he did not handle having his equipment tampered with well. He had his Mateba still, and this would NOT be going unpunished. He created a bridge across to Bridgit’s rafter, running across as a jagged piece of ice formed in his hand. That would be close enough to a knife to work. Once on the same rafter he fired a shot at Bridgit, aiming for her left shoulder. After letting the ice melt somewhat, he made a swing at Bridgit with it while he electrified the makeshift knife.
Mekura blinked as her cameras were blinded by the light that River threw out. Not even hesitating though she had her gun in hand and fired. The shot missed River but the sonic boom echoed through the gym causing any with no control over their hearing to drop due to the force of the sonic boom. The closer anyone was to Mekura the more powerful the shock waves became.
River’s....training had included tuners being inserted into her ears. They usually turn on when activated, particularly if there is someone with a sound affinity in the area. River’s tuners had activated causing the sonic boom to do no damage to River, or to stop her attack. She had intended to finish Briar, but when Mekura fired at her, Mekura became a larger threat and needed to be eliminated. River turned and prepared to run at Mekura.
As River turned, her attention not on Mekura, she race forward with the superior speed and slammed the girl into the wall. Jumping back she waited for River to counter but the blow against the wall seemed to have disrupted the training she was currently under and allowed the normal River back out.
River slammed into the wall and slid down to land on the ground in a pile. She lifted her head and asked almosts silently “wh-where’s Arthur?” The force of the blow had momentarily rattled River’s programming, allowing River to revert momentarily to her more normal self. But the programming quickly kicked in again and River’s mission to kill Mekura continued.
As she called out for Arthur her teddy bear Mekura softened a little and let down her guard. Soon enough though River’s body language changed and she was back to being normal. Whoever had trained her had done a number on her head. It troubled Mekura that someone so young had been so obviously messed with, without the child’s consent.
When River’s training and mission returned she refocus on Mekura who, instead of finishing off River had paused and was watching her. River swung her leg out tripping Mekura with her speed affinity. As River finished her action she quickly stood up gaining the tactical advantage in this fight.
Mekura holstered her gun about to check to see if River was okay before the girl swung her leg out. Flipping backwards she missed being tripped but gave River the chance to stand up.
As Mekura and River continued fighting, Manco charged headlong into the fray, as he was wont to. Rather than his normal kind of wild, flaily, cut everything in sight attack, though, he had a specific purpose in mind. As he approached River, he gripped the hilt of his sword, as if ready to draw it again. He started drawing, but as he drew, he aimed to drive the butt of the sword into River’s solar plexus. He hoped to catch River off guard and knock the wind out of her.
Horo had collapsed to the ground when the sonic boom rang out. Her ears were super sensitive to high sounds and her small body didn’t take too kindly to the shock wave after it. Her head was rattled, but she was still in one relative piece. With a cough of blood Horo reverted to her full human form and began dragging herself off the floor. She limped over to Briar and lifted the girl back onto her shoulders and began a fireman’s carry to KAKUZETZU.
As the blinding flash filled the gym, Alex vanished in a small puff of smoke. Reappearing on the roof of the gym, he felt the building shake as Mekura’s shockwave reverberated through it’s structure.
“Yeesh, everyone in this school is freakin crazy.” Turning to look out over the vast city in the distance, he cringed at the frequent plumes of smoke. “Well, I guess I’d rather be here than out there.” Feeling the vibrations stop beneath him, Alex made to drop back into a sitting position and vanished. Reappearing back inside the gym, he landed in a sitting position in the rafters, spotting Zeran and Bridgit fighting. Glancing down at the battle below, Alex sucked his teeth as he noticed Manco rushing into the fight with Mekura and River. Placing his rifle over his shoulder, Alex laid back on the rafters with a groan.
“They can take care of this without me right? It’s not like things would end up differently if I got involved.” Alex lay motionless on the beam for a short time, attempting to convince himself that there was nothing for him to do. Turning to look down again, he noticed Horo limping towards the doors, carrying someone on her shoulder. “Ah man, it’s always the damsels in distress with you, isn’t it Alex.” With a sigh, Alex rolled over off the beam and vanished in mid air. Appearing in front of Horo, he gave her an unenthusiastic salute. “Need a hand?”
Horo smiled and nodded. “That is what the members of the Quickstepp Club do! We correct the things that are wrong with the world.” Horo offered Briar to Alex and began limping next to him. “I see us with a bright future working together Alex. Our club will take over this school, figuratively, and we will be its shining light. Then I’ll take over the world, but that is another venture. Start small you know?”
Briar hit the ground as Horo was knocked down by Mekura’s gunshot. Her own ears were ringing and when she tried to stand up she ended up falling back down. Before she could even get her footing though she was tossed once more over Horo’s shoulder. Looking around she ended up startled by a boy as he just appeared next to them and offered to carry her. Was she a child that needed to be carried? Fire appeared before Horo and the boy. You know I can walk on my own right? I’m ten not a baby with no coordination. The whole danger thing seemed to have put her in a bad mood. Hearing something from the rafters she looked up and gasped seeing her sister battling on the rafters. When and how did she get up there?
Manco’s attack came as no surprise to River, she could hear his thought directed at her about his attack. She dodged the attack and pulling a gun shot, aiming for his left kidney. As he was reacting to the shot she grabbed Manco’s upper arm and tossed him forwards sending him flying towards Horo and Alex. She then ran to follow, she still had to kill Briar. She heard Mekura running up behind her, without missing a step River turned and aimed to roundhouse kick Mekura in the head, then before Mekura could react again River stabbed her in the side of her abdomen, recollected her dagger and turned to continue towards Briar.
Mekura followed after River as she tossed Manco at the other two students. What did it take to stop River without hurting her? Caught off guard by her thinking she saw the roundhouse kick too late. Deciding it would be easier to just take the hit she shifted her body slightly to lessen the blow to her head. As it knocked her off balance she attempted to right herself as she felt a dagger puncture her side just below her floating ribs. Gasping she felt River yank it back out before running after Briar and Alex. Hitting her knees she pressed her hands against her side to hopefully stop the bleeding. She was definitely rusty to allow a child like River to draw blood. Feeling the blood soak into her shirt began to wonder if River had hit an artery or something. Worried she tore off a piece of her shirt and pressed it against her side to add to the pressure being applied.
Alex deadpanned as Horo ranted about her Quickstepp club. What the hell is she talking about? Sensing a commotion, Alex turned to see Manco flying towards them, and River sprinting behind. With a quick sideways swipe of his leg, he ungracefully kicked Horo out of the way before vanishing in a puff of smoke. Reappearing on the other side of the gym, Alex lifted Briar off his shoulder by the collar of her shirt and set her on the floor. Spotting Mekura being stabbed, his eyes narrowed into lethal slits. Dropping to one knee, he brought his rifle to bear on River, raising it’s effective fusion power to just under the lethal limit.
“Cover your ears kid. This one might sting a little.” Alex pulled the trigger, sending a powerful burst of fusion energy straight for River’s back. Analyzing the situation in an instant, Alex positioned his shot with an error tolerance of less than a small coin, such that no one on the other side of River would be hit if she dodged. Resetting the firing bolt on his rifle, Alex waited to fire again, time in the gym seeming to slow to a crawl as his perception climbed to inhuman levels. If there was one thing Alex was good at, it was sniping.
Horo ran through the fire without a second thought, she looked up at Briar to rebuke her actions but was quickly kicked to the side by Alex. ‘What is this feeling?’ Horo thought to herself as her body glided backwards. It was like a tapping on her shoulder trying to get her attention. A moment later Manco came whizzing past her. Horo slammed her foot into the ground, the friction of the floor burned her skin, but she fought through and rushed over to him. “Manco, I have another idea! How mad would you be if we broke your sword? I can shatter it with Pulse and hit her when she dodges. She will be in air with no way to dodge the spread of shrapnel.” Horo smiled, but something inside told her that he wouldn’t go for the plan.
Briar blinked as she was suddenly across the gym. Looking at the boy as he set her on the ground she tilted her head deciding he must have a teleportation affinity. She had been reading about those lately in her books. Looking up as she saw him aiming his gun she saw Mekura get stabbed and River heading toward them again. Fear ran through her mind as she backed up. Backing up against the wall she watched the lethal girl get closer. Looking around she tried to remember the rest of the song Bridgit had been singing earlier. It was something. She needed to remember before River got killed or worse she killed another person. Feeling her panic level rising she pressed her back against the wall firmly before taking deep breaths. Panicking did no good. Alex had drilled that into her head last year hadn’t she? Taking another deep breath she let it out slowly as she tried to reorganize her thoughts while still searching for the rest of the lyrics. Looking at River she remembered the lyrics as her thoughts finished organizing themselves again. “Nunc autem dormierunt somnum alteri bello parvulus.” Her voice was soft but firm as she spoke the words while watching River for any signs of deactivation.
Up in the rafters Bridgit giggled as Mr. Dolly ended up furious. ”ooooooo. Scary mr. dolly.” Stepping backwards she stepped onto another beam before releasing space and allowing the space between rafters to return to normal. Hearing a commotion below she noted that Mekura had been stabbed. That didn’t really bother her. Catching sight of the wound on Briar’s arm and River heading toward her caused everything that made up Alex and Bridgit to scream out. That was their little sister. Shattering the hold the insanity had on their mind they searched for a way off the rafters forgetting about the boy Bridgit had just been fighting. They had to get to Briar.
Manco slammed into the space where Alex and Horo had been standing. Hard. He winced as he got up, feeling the sharp pain of the place his his kidney where he had been shot. Aw fuck . . . well, at least I have another one of those. Manco thought before Horo spoke to him again. ”Hell no!” Manco replied to Horo. ”A sword isn’t just a tool, it’s an extension of the wielder, I won’t let you just up and break it, why would you even ask that?”
”Get back here!” Zeran barked, firing a shot after Bridgit before pursuing her. He immediately began bombarding her with ice as he kept aiming to try and get a clear shot in on her.
Bridgit/Alex looked over at Zeran as he yelled after them, their right eye was now a dark green and their left was a light green and both shone with restored sanity. Eyes narrowing on their opponent they took off running down the rafters avoiding a good portion of his attacks. Their main worry was getting to Briar before River did. As they were running they managed to dodge the bullets but were hit by ice shard sending them tumbling off the beam. Gasping they reached out and grabbed on to the beam and ended up dangling from the beam. Struggling they attempted to pull themselves back up.
Zeran came to a halt, looming over Bridgit/Alex. ”No one, and I mean fucking no one fucks with my guns, understand me?” Zeran asked before reaching down and placing a hand on the beam. He proceeded to send enough electricity flowing through it to knock out Bridgit/Alex. He then plopped down on the beam to have a smoke. Thankfully, his cigarettes hadn’t been in his storage space with the rest of his equipment. River was closing in on her target Briar as she followed Manco. When Alex teleported River didn’t even pause. She heard his thoughts coming from behind her and picked up Briar’s thoughts as the girl panicked, and rapidly calmed down. River turned on a dime and ran using her speed affinity back towards Briar simply sidestepping Alex’s bullet; raising her pistol she shot at Alex, aiming to shoot right down the barrel of his gun to disable it. As River ran back past Mekura she said quietly “No power in the ‘verse can stop me” loud enough that probably only Mekura heard it. River reached Briar allowing a dagger to slide into her hand. River raised her dagger to slit Briar’s throat and kill her.
Near Horo and Manco a slight purple color seemed to cover the body of Blair. It was probably just bright enough to get their attention as they argued. The hole in chest swiftly closed up and her heart started to beat once again. As quickly as the glow had came it disappeared again as Blair gasped and rolled over coughing as she opened her golden eyes. The only sign that she may have been injured was the blood stains on her clothes.
Horo turned away from Manco and began hobbling forward towards Briar and River. “This has got to stop!” Her steps became faster but she was too far off to reach before anything happened.
Briar stared up at the girl wide eyed as her brain searched for a reason as to why the words didn’t work. Her eyes locked on to the dagger as she spoke up again. “Nunc autem dormierunt somnum alteri bello parvulus.” This time she lost control over her voice and the parvulus hit a rather high note. Covering her mouth instantly she hoped she hadn’t hurt anyone. Blinking she watched as River started to collapse.
One swipe of the dagger and this girl would be dead, then River could continue with her mission; one swipe, and it’d be done. but River heard the girl saying something and she blacked out.
River collapsed sideway, simply falling, as if she’d fallen asleep. The dagger fell from her hand to clatter uselessly to the ground at Briar’s feet. It was almost as if someone had flipped an off switch and River had simply turned off.
Mekura stood as she heard River hit the floor as Briar finished a Nigarian lullaby. Her camera’s on the other hand caught Bridgit falling from the rafters. Up she got and was catching the girls in seconds causing the wound in her side to worsen slightly. Sighing with relief she set the unconscious girl on the floor.
Horo released a sigh of relief as River collapsed to the floor. She quickly did the same, but falling to her butt instead of her side. Her mind raced with excitement, but eventually was still with one thought. I need a bath.
*Just as things seemed to be settling down in the gym, the entire building was engulfed in blue flames.*
With a silent fury, the powerful flames surged over the walls and ceiling of the gym. The immense heat that should have accompanied them was absent, and instead the gym seemed to grow cooler. From the doorway, a slow methodical ‘clack’ could be heard, as someone drew near. The next moment, an elderly woman hunched over a cane stepped through the door, and the flames surged out from her position, covering the floor as well.
Alexander had breathed a sigh of relief when the crazy girl had finally been stopped. To his alarm, within the same minute the gym was engulfed in flames. Deciding it would be safer to figure out what was happening first, Alex tried to teleport out of the building, and was surprised to realized he was unable to. “Huh? That’s strange. I-” Alex gasped as he felt his strength leave him and he collapsed to the floor as the blue flames surged around him. He struggled fruitlessly to rise as the magical fire burned away his strength.
Agatha continued her slow but steady march across the gym, cold eyes fixed on Mekura.
“My my, what a disaster this is. The entire city is in danger of collapse and what happens in this academy’s safe zone? An all out brawl erupts, endangering the lives of every child entrusted to us. Surely with a powerful teacher on duty, any trouble could have been easily circumvented, so tell me,” Agatha stopped directly in front of Mekura, slamming her cane on the floor. An invisible force tightened itself around the blonde teacher’s neck, and forcibly lifted her from the ground. “Mekura Nezumi, choose your words carefully. What exactly am I seeing here?”

Mekura felt the power woman headed her way and stood up quickly despite the wound on her side and moved away from Bridgit as the old lady stopped in front of her. She was definitely in trouble now. Keeping silent she looked toward the old lady before something wrapped around her neck and lifted her up off the ground. She didn’t struggle because she had let things get out of hand. ”A fight broke out among the students and I let it get out of control. Some of the students were injured. Everything that has happened here is entirely my fault.” Closing her eyes she attempted to keep her breathing even since the invisible force was causing it to be difficult to breath.
When River fell Stein was already headed towards Blair on her hover board to check her wounds...and discover how she’d magically rejoined the living. Seeing that the wound was already healed over without even a scab but the bullet was still lodged in her chest “Blair, if you have problems with any troublesome bullets.” she said tapping where the wound had been “you are welcome to stop by to see me anytime.” She then turned and sped over to Alex and Bridgit to check that they still had a pulse. Their pulse was still strong, they were just unconscious, they had some burns on their hands, but nothing a little healing salve would fix. Stein had applied the healing salve and was beginning to bandage their hands when Agatha walked in headed towards where her, Alex/Bridgit and Mekura were. She watched out of the corner of her eye what was occurring, when Mekura was magically lifted off of the ground Stein noticed the amount of blood Mekura was losing she stood up, and walked over towards Agatha and Mekura Excuse me ma’am, can you please set Ms. Nezumi down. I believe her splenic artery and vein may have been punctured; as well as possibly her spleen and stomach.” Stein’s hover board neared and hovered beside her “can I please check that she’s ok before you kill her?”
Agatha turned an ancient eye on the small girl who had spoken to her. Extending a gnarled finger, she beckoned Stein to come closer. “Come here girl, let me have a look at you.” Grabbing Stein by the chin, Agatha pulled her head in different directions, studying the girl’s features. Releasing her chin, Agatha’s hand was surrounded with a pale green flame, and gently, she took hold of the large screw. The green flame came forth from her hand and surrounded the screw, enveloping it in its entirety, the bit that was in Stein’s head included. The flame caused no discomfort, nor any sensation at all. Agatha chuckled dryly, and as she released the screw the flame went out.
“That’s quite an interesting accessory you have there dear. I can’t say I’ve seen one before.” The force that had wrapped itself around Mekura’s throat suddenly vanished, dropping the woman onto the floor. “Do what you like, but don’t even think of running off dear,” Agatha punctuated her statement with a stern glare. “We have not yet finished our discussion.” With a slight groan, and the slow tap of her cane, Agatha made her way over to Bridgit/Alex. Studying them with a stern expression, Agatha lifted her cane and tapped the girls’ chest with it. The same green flame that had covered Stein’s screw surrounded their body. Agatha’s eyes narrowed suspiciously. “If you’re not careful young one, you’ll end up losing more than you can imagine.” Finally, Agatha sniffed the air theatrically as her face twisted with disgust.
“I smell a Melanthios rat. Show yourself boy, before I boil your insides and have them for lunch.”
Stein was being wary of Agatha when she took hold of the screw. Stein figured Agatha wouldn’t hurt her, but given the circumstances she wasn’t positive. Stein twitched slightly when the fire had surrounded the screw entirely, the fire was scrambling the signals slightly causing her to have a few small muscle spasms.
As Agatha dropped Mekura Stein rushed over to her. carefully laying her on the hover board. “Mekura is there anything I should know medically. any allergies or anything? and what pain killer would you prefer? What blood type are you?”
As the invisible force dropped her she hit the floor on her wounded side and clenched her teeth together. It was definitely gonna get worse. Looking at Stein as she hurried over she allowed the child to help her up onto the hover board and laid there silently looking up at the ceiling before looking over at Stein’s direction. “Hmmmm. Not that I know of. I think I might be allergic to peanuts. But that may be nothing. Blood type......huh......haven’t been asked that one in a while. Huh....uh.....C.......D.......CD yup that's the one.”
“You’ve lost a lot of blood, CD, I have some of that.” Stein said reaching into her bag. She immediately started an IV on Mekura’s arm and injected some pain killers into the IV to help Mekura. Stein then set to ensuring no major organs had been punctured or cut, and repairing the damage.
Zeran deadpanned as he was called for by Agatha. He recognized the voice . . . and the reputation, and that made being called upon all the more jarring. “You’re a fucking embodiment of fire and you can’t find me when I’m smoking.” Zeran commented from the rafters above, not bothering to jump down from the rafters. If she was too lazy to use her basically godly powers, that was not Zeran’s problem.
“Ah what an annoying squeak I hear. I suppose the best way to clean the rats from the rafters, is to smoke them out.” With a snap of her fingers, Zeran’s cigarette exploded into a massive fireball, igniting his clothing and causing a huge burst of smoke to cloud the ceiling.
The exploding cigarette unleashed a heavy fog thick, cloves scented smoke. Zeran just sighed and created ice over himself, letting it melt and put out the fire. He was basically used to this stuff by this point. ”Someone doesn’t like being called out on laziness.” Zeran commented before proceeding to ask in a completely flat tone, ”So is it just that time of the month or menopause.”
Agatha snorted in slight amusement at being talked back to. “I’m surprised you know anything about the female anatomy boy. You must have found someone to rape once. Hurry down here before you make me angry.”
”Your insults are as empty as my desire to do anything you say.” Zeran said. ”The fact is, you’re still being lazy. Typical deity, has the power to do whatever the fuck they want, still wants everyone else to do their dirty work.”
Agatha sighed as her annoyance grew. “To think I even gave you half a chance.” The same invisible force that had held Mekura by the throat, wrapped itself around Zeran’s midsection, crushing the air from his lungs. In one swift motion he was flung from the rafters, slamming into the floor hard enough to crush the magically treated wood. Agatha chuckled to herself as she slowly tapped her way over to him.
At that point Zeran’s gratitude at how much his spine and legs could withstand was boundless. Fortunately, most of the force had gone into his knees and gone up through his spine, leaving him with little more than a few fractured bones . . . which was more than the floor could say. Zeran panted and wheezed, trying to get his air back, when he finally spoke, he was not any more polite to Agatha. ”If you wanted me to talk to you, your damn horrible at-” Zeran had to stop for a moment to get his breath back again. ”Knock the wind out of a smoker. I guess I win. I apparently get more about female anatomy then you get about mortal anatomy.”
“Talk? I care nothing for your opinion boy. One does not usually try to hold a conversation with a rat now do they?” The force wrapped itself around Zeran’s throat, pulling him to eye level with the hunched old woman. “I have a message for you to bring to your little master, who has just recently returned from the city. With Eleazar gone for the time being, I’m in charge, and I would like to know what has happened and what he has to say for himself. The guardians are supposed to protect mortals from threats such as the corrupted are they not? I must say he’s done a pitiable job at it.” Agatha sneered at Zeran as a noxious smoke billowed from her mouth. “Tell him I want a full report and explanation by tonight. I don’t care how injured he is, he will bring it to me or your kind will find no asylum here. Do I make myself clear?”
”Oh yes, very clear, a few things those. One, you’re doing a horrible job disproving that you’re little more than a lazy, menopausal, senile, old hag having a massive power trip. Two apparently you DO want my opinion. Or was that not a question I heard at the end of that threat. Which requires an answer. Which requires speaking. For someone who dislikes being insulted and disrespected so much, you make it way too easy.” Zeran said. ”I’m not Erebus’ goddamn buddy, understand that? You want a message delivered, you can damn well do it yourself, you lazy hag.”
Agatha’s eyes turned slightly reptilian as Zeran was slammed into the ground, expanding the already present crater. “Now listen here you miserable little worm. I’m growing tired of your self gratifying attitude. You will do as I say or your half vampiric life span will be cut dramatically short.” Agatha released the boy and turned to begin hobbling her way back towards Mekura and Stein. “I don’t know what sort of policy Eleazar took when dealing with snub nosed insects like yourself but killing one or two of you to make this wretched pile of filth more tolerable means nothing to me.” A black flame ignited right above Zeran’s face. “I trust you’ve seen that flame before boy. Another word, and you’ll wish you were never spawned from the cesspool of your adoptive family’s curse.”
Mekura laying on the hover board heard Agatha getting after Zeran and speaking down on Erebus. “You know insulting the children isn’t the best way about it. I am sure Erebus is doing the best he can in this situation. Children are good at learning from their mistakes unfortunately for those of us in our older years we have made many mistakes. And have already learned from them. So its not really fair to ---”
”Silence girl. You are the least able to speak words of chastisement to me now. Correct your own work ethic before you champion the cause of a lineage of murderers and thieves.”
Stein quickly injected something into the bag before saying I’m sorry about her, I gave her some pain killers; so she’s not quite with it right now.”
Mekura’s eyes saddened as the woman called them murderers and thieves. No one really deserved the title of being called a murderer unless they killed for fun. ”Ah guess that means I could be called a murderer too.” Her voice was soft as she uttered her words before looking at Stein. Her eyes looked tired as she allowed her sightless eyes to roam over the gym as if she would see anything. The painkillers Stein had given her may have knocked an ordinary person out for Mekura is just made her even loopier than she already was from the blood loss.
It was at that point that Zeran may have finally snapped if he hadn’t before. ”That’s all the entire damn Melanthios family is to you, isn’t it? Your hypocrisy I can deal with. But if you want to call the one reason I’m alive right now nothing more than ‘murderers and thieves’ then you are truly less than what you just called my family.” Zeran slowly slid out from under the flame then got up, gingerly, slowly, and probably against his better judgment. I may be rat, but if you’re as low as you’re making yourself out to be, you’re not even worthy to be sewer I shit in, understand? You want me to shut up and give you respect? Give me one goddamn reason that doesn’t involve you proving the points I’ve made about you already. You may be close to a god but that doesn’t mean you deserve to be. After all, if you kill me for what I’m saying, doesn’t that make you a murderer too?”
Agatha chuckled darkly as the blue flames covering the room grew a shade darker. “That’s right boy, I suppose from your perspective I am a murderer. I’ve slaughtered your kind by the thousands without a second thought. There is one point of difference though. To me killing you is no different from swatting an annoying fly.” For a moment a massive serpentine tail became visible in the gym as it rocketed towards Zeran. It collided with his midsection sending him flying into the opposite wall at three times the speed of sound. “Say what you will Mekura, I expect a full report from you as well by tonight, or your position in this school will be forfeit. Heed my warnings, or you may come to regret it.” Agatha became consumed by a brilliant red fire, and as it slowly faded, she vanished from sight.
Mekura’s eyes traveled in the direction of where Agatha was as the woman spoke to her. ”Yes Agatha.” Tired beyond belief Mekura settled her eyes on the roof as Stein continued to work. Even with her loopy mind she began a draft of her report.
Horo blinked slightly as the events unfolded. “I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about all of this...” Horo crawled over to Stein and gave her a pitiful look. “Do you have anything that would fix me up doc?”
Stein heard Horo and with Mekura stabilized and muttering to herself about her report turned her attention to Horo. “What seems to be the problem? I can imagine your ears would hurt from the sonic boom, and you have some cuts and bruises, did you hurt your leg or anything?”
Horo sighed, rubbing her strange human ears. “My ears are still ringing, but my ribs feel horrible. I feel beaten and bruised all over.” Horo laughed, “Although my legs probably require some work too. I feel like that sonic boom rattled me to the core.”
Stein knelt down and felt along Horo’s ribs pressing more gently when Horo showed signs of pain “You’ve broken a few ribs.” Stein replied as she pulled wraps from her bag and proceeded to wrap Horo’s ribs. Digging further in her bag she pulled out an empty pill container, and one full with pills, pouring a weeks worth of pills into the empty one she handed it to Horo “take one at a time 2-4 times a day for pain, it’s just Aspirimium. And if your ribs don’t feel better in 2 weeks check in with Chrystaline or myself.” Stein checked Horo’s ears and legs as well before releasing her “You just bruised you legs, and the ringing in your ears should clear in 24-48 hours.” Stein then turned to check on Mekura and change her IV.
Horo nodded and stood up. “Alright doc, thanks for the check up. I’ll remember you when I rule the world.” Horo hobbled over to the bleachers and took a seat. She was worn out and decided that further recruitment would happen when things were back to normal.
Blair sat up as she looked up as Agatha disappeared. Touching her chest carefully she was entirely weirded out by the fact that she was pretty sure she had just died. Looking around the gym Blair stood up slightly shakily as she wondered what she could do for Mekura. Well one she could get all the students back into the gym since they would probably be waking up soon. Concentrating on all the students being back in the room she snapped her fingers and all the students were laying on the gym floor in single file lines. Several looked disoriented as they had just been waking up in the basement of the gym. Noting the blood on her shirt she snapped her fingers again and it was quickly replaced with a purple corset.
Mekura deciding she had laid in place for far too long started to sit up rather shakily and looking around to see what she could do. She needed to put the gym back in order and get the students to sit on the bleachers. She needed to start on a report. Her mind started whirling her head as she spoke up in a rather interesting language to anyone who didn’t know what it was. “de acu impetro brachium meum sustinebunt. Nunc. Et est omnia facere et impedit.”
Stein recognized the nigarian language, she spoke it herself and understood exactly what Mekura was demanding but simply replied calmly “Mekura lay down you’re speaking nonsense” She pushed Mekura’s shoulders back down onto the board and calling into place straps on Mekura’s arms and torso “Accubuit placide quiescas.” Stein whispered near Mekura’s ear.
Mekura blinked as she was laid back down and this time strapped to the board she was on. Highly confused she looked toward Stein and yelled at her in the funny language again. “Non sum linguis loquens ibo? Habeo quæ est mihi!” Mekura was apparently not taking too well to being strapped down. Hearing Stein speak to her in Nigaran she became silent for a moment before it registered what she said. “Quia non est mihi somnus dari paupéribus ipsum. I need to do it so that I do not get fired.. Si non possum accensi adipiscing elit.” Laying on the board again she stared at Stein hoping the child would understand.
Hearing Mekura speak in Nigarian and slide in and out of it so easily Stein thought of an idea. She pulled a very small vial from her bag but paused before giving it to Mekura “Mekura, please tell me about yourself. Name, age, birthplace. whatever you want to”
Mekura pressed her lips together almost as if she was defying stein by keeping silent. Then a moment later she spoke up in her language though it was a bit broken. “Nulla ut nulla ut vadam ad operandum. I need to fabricant. The Report is.....Ferunt......Fama est nocte due.”
Shhhhh. Don’t worry Mekura, I’ll make sure you’re up to give the report” With that Stein injected Mekura with enough Nigarian ‘sleep hormone’ to cause her to sleep for the next 2 hours, enough time for her to rest and sleep of the pain killers, but with time to spare before the report was due.
Mekura gasped and renewed her struggles as the child decided to put her to sleep anyways. “Non ausim me somnus!!!!” Moments after she ended up asleep on the board. Though there was a slight bleeding from her side again. Apparently during her struggle she had reopened the wound.
Stein sighed seeing the Mekura had reopened the wound, she quickly repaired the damage and moved Mekura in line with some of the other students to sleep.
Blair blinked as she received a message from Alvion. ”Alrighty everyone who is awake may return to the dorms promptly. Alvion said he would deal with any who do not and try to sneak around. Those of you who have knocked out friends help them to their dorm room. Or you can help by telling me dorm room numbers names and showing me who belongs where.” With that Blair looked around the gym as some of the students began to get up and head to the dorm. They were unsure of what to do at the moment. Thinking for a sec Blair snapped her fingers again and the doors became unlocked.
