Chaona Bean was looking at some papers, standing around in the mid-morning. The courtyard was bright and lovely and far too fancy for sanity. She hopped from foot-to-foot, almost as if she had to pee, but she didn't. She was thinking. Go to her class? Or escape from the academy?
So far it looked like the idea of escape was winning. She was most likely going to ditch, unless otherwise convinced. And she wasn't fond of being convinced. Her black hair, streaked with fairly strong colors of dark blue and purple, today, was braided, falling down to about mid-thigh on her back. Longer than it was yesterday, at any rate; it wasn't worth trying to wrap your head around any sudden growth spurts her hair - or her height in general - may have had.
She was wearing a neon-bright lime green t-shirt, emblazoned with the black outline of a star. The shirt was painful to look at, but that's exactly why Chaona had chosen it. She wore a black skirt that went to her lower thigh, though it swished around her legs as she moved as if it were going to just fly up any second. And she had skipped shoes entirely, wiggling her toes as she glanced around.
Lots of people were moving. Nobody would notice if she skipped her third period. And anyway, she technically attended first and second periods. So what if she showed up late for first period and slept through half of second? It was her right to do as she wished.
Not like the school agreed with that, but everyone was far to uptight here. She was going to cause some sort of disaster. She strode away with confidence, working out a way to escape unnoticed. Hopefully. The challenge was staying as she was, in the blindingly-bright t-shirt. It was not, by any means, conspicuous; but that was why she wore it.
This would be interesting. Better yet, this would be fun. She grinned, wondering if she'd bother coming back today. Who knows? She didn't know; she didn't plan that far ahead. All she knew is that sitting through one more History of the Forgotten Arts she would shoot herself.
It was far better to enjoy herself, school day or not.

Alice sighed as she took another sip of tea and set down her cup and saucer. Today was a lovely day for an afternoon out, especially since she’d finished all her classes and homework for the day. She was wearing a pretty pastel green dress with pastel-yellow highlights, which were offset by the pale pink and blue flowers covering the dress. Her golden-yellow hair was pulled back from her face in ringlets and topped with a hat that matched her dress, the blue in her dress was perfectly coordinated to highlight her light-blue eyes. She sat on the grass surrounded by her skirts at a short table on the ground with ALFRED (All Logistical Functions Refreshment and Ensemble Drone [Imagine Eve from Wall-E]) hovering nearby. The table was spread with finger-sandwiches, pastel cupcakes and petite-fours all surrounding a floral teapot in the center. Alice looked over to see a girl walking down the path in a dreadfully bright shirt and scandalously short skirt. She sighed quietly to herself A lady should be kind and courteous to everyone she meets Alice smiled sweetly and attempted to catch Chaona’s attention with a small wave. “Good afternoon, would you care to join me for tea? I have plenty of fresh-baked sweets.”
As Alice spoke a petite-four seemed to move itself to one of the place setting and disappear into thin air in small bites, though Alice didn't even react to it.
(Flying Mint bunny. If a character is young at heart [still believes in fairies and magic]they will see a flying mint-green bunny who's is kinda plump with wings and smells faintly of mint. An imaginary friend brought to life by magic)

Each step was accompanied by the squeaking of the cart’s rusted wheels and hay wire repair job. Each bump nearly lost cargo, each turn nearly made her hour trek for naught but now, finally, Horo had returned to the campus with a mountain of scraps, old technology, and other various knick-knacks she had bartered for. The people of the City’s least wealthy districts definitely were the nicest people in Horo’s opinion. Floating next to the young Anulupis was the infamous orange pedals of Ty, Jena’s best friend and pet, a tiger-lilly. Horo spoke to the flower as if it was a person, just as Jena had requested of her Captain.
”It really is amazing. All I had to do was take some pictures of my body for them and they gave me all this nice stuff. Those guys behind that adult club were so nice. I wonder where they got it…. No matter.”
The young Anulupis still had much to learn about life among the ‘civilized’ here in Savale, ’but…’ Horo thought for a moment, clutching her chest as she was reminded of her father. Horo shook her head and looked to Ty ”You are going to have such an interesting story for Jena… I guess… Jena asked me to talk to you, but I don’t understand flower… Oh well, let’s get this stuff the club room.”
With a grunt, her strong legs pushed forward again, dragging the shambolic cart behind herself at a dismal pace. She was soon deep within the main court yard and passing by Alice. Horo gave her attire a double take, remembering the last time she was around the “proper lady”. Her hair was flowing behind her in the wind, perfect. Her top, a modest hoodie, purple, that had the sleeves torn off on a day that had been too hot, unzipped in the front revealing her black cami and sports bra, if the wind pushed hard enough. Her legs covered by a pair of short jean shorts, ending just around the bottom of her hoodie. Perfectly showing off her body. Finally, her tail was fluffy and plush, hanging out from under her hoodie and enjoying the rejuvenating power of the sun. Perfect. Assured of her personal attire, and the lack of deviant twins to force a change upon her she spoke.
”Morning Alice. Fancy meeting you here.”
Horo gazed around her spread and began to eyeball a sandwich square with a near lustful look in her eye. Her meeting with the men in the city had forced her to skip breakfast… ”Could I just… have a bite?” She asked politely as she prepared to pull the food to her face with her power, Pulse. Yet, another person wandered into her view and stole her attention from the food. She had an air of excitement about her, something Horo valued and sought out for her ranks.
”Hey, you there! Want to join my club, swear you allegiance to me and one day assist my takeover of the world?” Horo’s voice was casual as she asked, but the confidence she carried in her declaration spoke volumes of her pure intentions for conquest.

Across the courtyard came a little girl running from the dorms. Her white hair was flowing out behind her and her little hand was holding the hat upon her head so it wouldn't fall off. Her lovely green dress was her best and she actually had black flats on today! Her emerald eyes found Alice as she slowed to catch her breath. Taking a deep breath and letting it out she walked the rest of the way to Lady Alice's tea party.
"Good Morning, Miss Alice. May I join your lovely tea party please?" It was obvious the little kitsune had come out the moment she had awoken. She had been looking forward to more of Alice's tea parties. Even if Rikka didn't like ALFRED. Kiki had fun anyways.
Around 5 minutes later a girl in a neon green tank top and neon pink cargo pants walked out of the dorm building yawning. Her hair was everywhere. Having not had a chance to brush it in an attempt to get Kiki ready for Alice's outside tea party. Her curls tangled endlessly as she ran her fingers through it in an attempt for some sort of order to no avail. Another yawn escaped her right as she tripped over nothing. Absolutely nothing. Grumbling from her spot on the ground she laid there. The fiery redhead was not much of a morning person unless it was an emergency or she had a project. She liked her projects and they made her as giddy as Kiki was in the mornings. Finally getting up she trudged over near Alice but not so close as to be seen by ALFRED. She had taken it apart recently and wasn't sure if Alice would allow her near it again. Abut 3 yards away though she laid back down on the grass and absorbed the sunlight.

As she was leaving, someone spoke to her. Someone who was far too fancy and had far too many manners. She wrinkled her nose, frowning. And then she was thoughtful. The food did look good - and what was that? A blurry image on her peripheral vision, that seemed to be green. Ah, but there was that robot there. She knew well enough it might break - but then she'd just have to stay a good distance away.
Just as she was about to give her answer, another person came. She was hauling a bunch of old electronics, and had an ears and a tail. Chaona didn't blink twice at it. She did, however, make a face.
"I don't swear allegiances, sorry," she said matter-of-factly, "Seriously, joining a club would probably bore me." Which was the truth. And unless she was completely happy, random things would happen. Unpredictable things. But that was the nature of it; and even when she was happy, they still happened - just less often. And if she was going to convince people she had nothing to do with it, that it wasn't her, she had to avoid the random chaos happening as much as possibly.
And just as she finished that line of thought, two more approached! One looked exhausted and like a mess, which Chaona could appreciate - so early, even after two classes had passed - and the other was in a cheerful outfit. She appreciated the neon of the other person's, if only because she stuck out like a sore thumb. Much like Chaona, really.
"Though, I would love to join your, uh, tea party, if it isn't too much of a bother," she finally said to the first person who addressed her, using 'tea party' based off of the girl in the green dress. Lots of green today. She looked down at her own green shirt, seemingly unbothered by how bright it was. She could change it. She would change it - if she were in a private place. But as it was it was fairly public and she wasn't about to do anything to compromise her feeble - and most likely futile - attempts to keep her capabilities and true nature secret.
"My name's Chaona, by the way," she said, "And I'm guessing you're 'Alice', since that what these two -" she gestured her thumb at the girl with the wagon of junk, and then at the younger one in the dress "- called you that?" She then shrugged. "But I have no idea what you three are called." She was trying to address all three of them at once.
Oh yes, what a lovely way to make an impression - but Chaona didn't care. What happened, would happen.

Alice smiled politely as Horo greeted her incorrectly. “You’re welcome to join the tea party Miss Horo, please have a seat.” Alice said gesturing to the seat beside her. Alice’s grin became much more genuine as Kiki came running up but stopped to calmly walk to the table. “Miss Kiki I would be honored to have you join my tea. I’ll set out more place settings. Miss Kiki, you’re doing well being a lady; getting up early and being prepared for the day before leaving your boudoir.” Alice reached into a small basket and pulled out two more place settings allowing the table to now seat 4 people. She looked at Rikka as the fiery-redhead emerged from the dorms and entered the courtyard. Alice rolled her eyes good-humoredly and said “Miss Rikka, what have I told you about contrasting colors? Particularly those pink-pants with anything else neon. Though ‘MB’ does love your green shirt as well as Chaona’s shirt.” Alice turned to Chaona and smiled as she pulled several more small containers of cakes and sandwiches out of her basket “My name is Lady Alice Kiraland, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Miss Chaona, please have a seat and enjoy as many treats as you’d like.”
As everyone settled Mint bunny was circling the table and greeting people, even if not everyone could hear him. “Hello Horo, Kiki, I like your hairstyle Rikka. Miss Chaona it’s a pleasure to meet you. You should consider wearing more blues, they’d bring out the blues in your eyes, which, are beautiful by the way.” He finally settle on Kiki’s head to watch the party and Chaona in particular. ALFRED circled the table pouring hot water for tea and arranging pastries on the plates silently.
((feel free to have ALFRED malfunction or spontaneously combust.))

Within an instant, the sandwich square was in Horo’s hand. After another, it was gone to the void that was her stomach. She muttered a thank you through her full mouth, then whipped the crumbs away from her mouth with her forearm. “That was tasty!” she exclaimed, proudly placing her hands back on her hips with a smile. Horo refaced the new comer and cocked her head to the side, with pondering eyes. “You don’t swear allegiances… I don’t understand. Why not? You will all be serving me one day anyway.” Horo spoke as if it was a universal law of physics; a divine truth of the world that couldn’t be refuted.
Before allowing Chaona a chance to rebuke her, Horo slammed her left fist into the palm of her right hand, her eyes wide open as she came to the grand realization. “Ah! I understand now! Chao-Chao just doesn’t understand how amazing I am yet!” Horo turned back and nodded matter of factly to Ty before turning back to Chaona. “Don’t worry Chao-Chao, I’m perfect for the position of Galactic Ruler! I have all of the qualifications!” Horo turned to face Kiki, an ambitious fire in her eyes. “Do you want to help my rise to power? I am super cool, have a super cool club, lots of super great plans, like Universal Taco Tuesdays and I have candy!”

Kiki smiled at Alice as she allowed her to join the tea party. Sitting down she happily spread out her skirts like Alice before giving a small wave to Mint bunny. Looking to Chaona she decided to greet her. "Hello Miss Chaona, I'm Kiki and its lovely to meet you!" Taking a cupcake she placed it on a napkin next to her before looking over at the girl who was trying to persuade Chaona to join her club.
Rikka whom had been laying down had tossed her right arm over her eyes blocking out the light as she absorbed the warmth from the sun. Listening to Alice's comment on her attire she gave a tired wave in her direction. Hearing Mint bunny today, sometimes she could only see him and sometimes she couldn't see or hear him, she gave a small smile. "Thanks MB its nice to know someone appreciates bed head." Stretching out on the grass she heard a voice that could only belong to the pain of her existence at the moment. All the rewiring and mayhem of the gym. Just last week the gym floors would lighting up randomly for no other reason than Horo had crossed the wrong wires.
Going to ignore her for the moment her ears popped up as Horo offered her sister candy in exchange for joining her club. Popping up to her feet she marched right over to confront Horo. "Oh no you don't! You are not tempting my sister like a kidnapper into joining your club. Your 'little' modifications are giving me headaches as I fix that damn things!" The edges of her hair seemed to light on fire as she stared Horo down, with what looked like the temptation to light the little anulupis on fire.

Alice kindly offered her a seat, and Chaona accepted with a smile. So far she wasn't so bad, though Chaona knew - judging from what she could see, at least - that Alice's ridged structures would drive her crazy and some point or another.
Meanwhile, she had just achieved a new nickname: Chao-Chao. Not bad. She shrugged. This girl was a bit too stuck up, and didn't even bother replying to her request for names. On the other hand, the little girl Kiki informed her of her name.
"It's good to meet you, too, Kiki," she said with a smile. The girl was cute, a darling sweetheart as far as Chaona could tell. Which, eh, was boring, but with the take-over-the-world-and-be-Galactic-Ruler girl's rudeness and general inanity was appreciated. Chaoana made a face.
"You could have the qualifications of saving the world a thousand times, and I still wouldn't be interested. I just don't join clubs and swear allegiances," she said pointedly, frowning at her. The other girl - Rikka, she presumed, from what the other girls were saying, mainly "Lady Alice" - got angry. Chaona grinned as she snapped at Galactic Ruler girl. Oh, that was interesting.
"Modifications?" she asked curiously, "What exactly is Galactic Ruler Wannabe doing that's so annoying?" There was honest curiosity in her voice. Mixed with a slight distaste when she said "Galactic Ruler Wannabe". That part annoyed her. But she was causing chaos? That interested her.
Maybe swearing allegiance wouldn't be so bad after all. She could wreck the club - and Galactic Ruler chick's ego - after she had her fill of fun. Hmmm. Maybe.
But that would be a while from now. She wanted to see more things play out - and learn more about this school - beforehand.

Alice dabbed her mouth with a napkin and turned towards Chaona “Horo has a clubhouse under the gym, and she keeps modifying the wiring in and around it; The wiring in the school is Rikka’s personal project, and she’s forced to share it with a few other technopaths and hackers, but they know what they’re doing. Horo often destroys wiring when she tries to ‘help’ and makes more work for Rikka.” Alice looked startled as Horo simply ‘magiced’ treats into her mough while standing over the table “Ms. Horo, that is-“ She was interrupted by ALFRED who had moved to hover beside Horo Ms. Whitetail, it is incredibly rude to speak when your mouth is full of food. Also if someone invites you to sit you either politely decline or you sit at the table to eat. You do not transport food off of the table and eat while standing over people. Applying shock now as he finished an electrical spark jumped from his hand to Horo’s closest hand, applying a moderate shock. He turned to face ALFRED and the voice of an angry-sounding old women came over ALFRED’s speakers “Miss Alice Kiraland! That is the 6th punishment protocol that has been initiated this month, you need to either reconsider your actions, or reconsider your choice of companions.”
Mint Bunny flew off Kiki’s head to hover near Rikka “Bedhead? I assumed you’d style it to look like that; you just need to add…this” He finished as he flittered over to the garden and retrieved a large pink rose and planted it on Rikka’s head right above her temple “There, now it’s perfect” The pink rose did make the neon pants less ‘loud’ and helped it look like the outfit was designed to be that loud. Mint Bunny grinned “I bet Ajax would like that flower in your hair.” He finished and flitted back to the table, landing on Chaona’s head with his little teacup and saucer. He would feel like a warm marshmallow on her head, it was a pleasant and comforting sensation.

Horo couldn’t help but pout as Chao-Chao declined her once more. Twice by one person? It wasn’t common that people could resist her charming appearance. Or so she thought to herself, taking a small cake from the assortment with her pulse abilities and beginning to lick at the icing. ”Well, I’m not saving the Galaxy, I’m ruling it. Saving is a byproduct. See, so I have qualifications you can’t ignore.” Persistence in the face of adversity! Keep up the good work. Her thoughts rang around in her inflated head as Alfred began.
Horo looked down at the little bot kindly, until it threatened and administered a jostling shock to her. Her limbs went straight, her hair stood on end and her cake launched from her hand and landed upon Alice’s shoulder. Horo landed on all fours and began growling at the bot, bouncing around like a dog preparing for a fight. Yet, as Rikka approached her mind flew away to the next subject, and that was Kiki and her own personal conquest of the wiring of her club room.
”I’m not tempting Kiki into anything. I’m sharing the perks of our club! Besides, they aren’t bad.” Horo looked over to Chao-Chao and smiled ”I installed a hot tub that had these super cool LED lights that can change color with this waterproof remote control. Then I needed more power for the Holoconsole I was setting up to project onto the water of the aquarium I put in so my fishions (fish minions) could remain entertained with the latest vids from the Holo-net. I also installed a fully body air dryer, that one was difficult. I spliced some wires into the light systems for the extra juice I needed and it worked out perfectly, when I dried my body the entire floor’s lights flashed for about a week. I guess Rikka here stopped it. ”
Horo’s eyes turned back to the cakes before her. She dropped onto the ground, pulled one to her, and stood back up before sticking her tongue out at Alfred before shoving the entire cake into her mouth. She spun to the side and smiled at Rikka. ”You can join to supervise her if you want! And you could even do my electrical work!” Horo turned to Chao-Chao and beamed ”See these negotiation skills? Doesn’t that just make you want to join me, the Great Horo Whitetail?” Horo nudged Chao-Chao with her elbow.
”Ms. Whitetail!” A man’s voice rang through the air. He approached with a quick stride, his arms folded across his chest. Everything on his face resembled pain and agitation towards the young Captain. “Professor Foxheart! What can I do you for?” Roy tapped his fingers, ”Horo, why is it that I found my guitar amps missing yesterday afternoon and in their place a note that read and I quote ‘Thanks for the donation, Your Captain. Horo Whitetail? ‘ ”Because I left it there.”
Roy was slightly taken aback at the straight honest answer Horo had provided, then proceeded to sigh and rub his temples. ”You have until 5 pm tonight to return them or I will revoke your club’s authentication and by proxy, your privileges to the club room.” Horo’s mouth fell open as the teacher turned around and simply walked away without waiting for an answer. She looked at the group and pointed at Roy’s back. ”Can you believe that guy?”

Rikka blushed over Mint Bunny's comment and smiled since she really couldn't see him today. "Oh I think so too. I will definitely have to find him sometime today!" Of course this good mood had been broken and forgotten after she started talking to Horo.
Rikka rubbed her temple as a slight headache started to brew. "No. Horo, When you off a child candy here your are usually trying to lure them away to do depraved things to them! And If I catch you adding more things to that club room I will tear them out next time!" As Horo tried to negotiate with her, little flame tornadoes no large than an inch or two started to swirl around her feet. "Horo. That is all beneficial to you. What do I get out of it? Your negotiating skills are horrid an-" Rikka was soon interrupted by the music teacher as he came to chastise Horo over taking his guitar amps. "Horo if you don't abide by the social customs here your going to get thrown in jail. Your going to get in serious trouble!"
Taking a deep breath she let it out slowly as the fires around herself extinguished. "Okay. I will join your 'club' if you promise to have an electrical lesson with me every week If you don't you will not be allowed to install or add anything to your club room again! I will make sure of it. You will also not call Kiki or I minions, AND I reserve the right for either Kiki or I to leave at anytime."
Kiki giggled as Rikka created little flaming tornadoes. When Roy cam marching out her eyes got wide as he accused Horo of stealing. Then the most amazing part Horo own up to it. "Horo! Your not supposed to steal. You need to ask."

Chaona watched with a fair amount of interest as Horo was shocked by the robot. She snickered at the reaction of the girl, grinning wickedly. Serves her right, especially since she actually sucked at compromising. Rikka got nothing from her statement. The overly-confident girl bothered her slightly. Of course, the voice that came from ALFRED next bothered her even more. She frowned at the robot. Whoever that woman was, she was annoying. Overprotective or something? Possibly.
"Horo, you couldn't negotiate to save your life," Chaona said flatly, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. "You really need to stop." The girl rolled her eyes. And then widened them as a teacher came out.
She was going to get caught. Crap. Only the teacher just mentioned Horo having stolen something. Wow. 'Borrow' it? If you didn't bother without asking, it didn't work. That was stealing. Period. Chaona nodded in agreement with Kiki. "Yeah, Horo, stealing's wrong. You shouldn't do that." The girl finally eyed some of the food and grabbed a finger sandwich. She looked at ALFRED warily as he came a little close to her (assuming he's moving around) and popped the sandwich in her mouth, chewing with her mouth closed thankfully.
She felt like being polite today. For the most part, anyway.
Idly, Chaona reached up and petted the fuzzy green blob. She didn't see it clearly, for whatever reason, but it seemed friendly enough. She made sure to be gentle about it, then sat her hand back down and debated about grabbing another sandwich square.

“That voice is Alice’s Great-Aunt Priscilla. She gets notified if ALFRED completes punishment protocol. She’s cranky sometimes” Alice looked over at Mint Bunny, who was sitting on Chaona’s head “Mint Bunny, it’s not polite to talk about people like that. Mi-“ Miss Kiraland are you talking to your non-existent imaginary friend “No I am not ALFRED, I’m simply making polite conversation with Ms. Bean.” Alice said covering her mistake. ALFRED hovered past Chaona Would you care for more tea Ms. Bean? He asked and waited for a reply, filling her tea cup or moving on depending on what she said. A cupcake flew from Horo’s hand and landed on Alice’s shoulder, splattering frosting all over her dress and pinafore. Alice gasped and begun trying to clean it off ignoring Professor Foxheart as he came and went.
As Alice was cleaning her dress and ALFRED was circling the guests and offering assistance a small light green blob went racing across the grass and ran directly up Chaona’s shirt squealing “Hide me! Hide me!” as it settled between her breasts. "Could you hand me a cupcake with bright red frosting please?" the little voice in her shirt said
((There are no cupcakes with red frosting. Those ones are 'Special' for Alice))

Luna wandered away from the building, walking out half way through her language class of boredom and feeling locked up. She stopped at the door way and pulled out her camera to take a picture of the courtyard, the afternoon light lit it up and it had some real beauty to it. Through her lens she found a fairly large group of what she assumed were students having a party of sorts. She took their picture and zoomed out to get her originally intended courtyard picture before cautiously walking over.
It seemed like it was a mess and loud, and though her original intent was to head towards the forest, Luna felt drawn towards this group. Maybe part of it was that her last feeding was yesterday afternoon, and if she didn't feed soon, she could easily set herself into a blood frenzy. Maybe one of these people could become a donor.
She couldn't decide who to approach, until she saw the girl in the corset and lovely green dress. Something she had in common. and so she took a breath before greeting her, "Hello, I saw your, party is it, and couldn't help but see exactly what was going on. I'm Luna by the way. Luna cross."
