In the Nation of Li'Hallowa there is a legend of the three great warriors who conqured nations alone. Their strength's on the warplane are said to be matched by none in their fields. The tale goes …
Cyrus "the Blade" Li'Dawl [IX]- A swordsman of infinite skill he is one of the greatest swordsmen in all the nations. His pure love of peace drove him to defeat all nations that threatened his nation. He is the King of Li'Hallowa.
Ahmose "the Brave" [VII]- Childhood friend of King Cyrus, he is a hand to hand fighter of great skill. His affinity to control the elements has allowed him to develop an intrestin gstyle of combat. He has only one successful student and that is Roy Foxheart.
Tian "the Sky" [VII]- An archer with amazing accuracy. She refined her skills in the shadows of Cyrus and Ahmose. Her affinity for "Light-Matter" is useful as it allows her to create an unlimited amount of arrows with different effects.
”Our forces are outnumbered, the enemy has us surrounded. We can not win Cyrus. We must retreat.”[/blockquote]
Cyrus stood on the hill top where his army camped, looking down upon what by tomorrow would be a battle field. His face was cloaked by his long black hair, pulled back into a ponytail. On his left hip were two swords, a katana, sheathed in a saya that was soaked in blood and a wakishi that had yet to be drawn in the course of this war.
“Lord Cyrus, we must submit defeat to the Gi’Youins. Their dark magic is too powerful for us, we will not survive against their numbers!” Cyrus looked down at this soldiers, the remaining number in the hundreds. He called out to the masses below him. ”My Brothers and Sisters. This is the choice I offer you. You may surrender to your fear and leave this battle field for home, evacuate the people and live on. No one will resent you for this. Or you can stay and fight with me. I will not waiver in the face of battle and I will not allow our nation to fall so long as I have breath in my body. Make your decision by sunrise.”
Li shook his head. “Cyrus, you will not win this fight! It makes me sad that this will be our last night, but I will do what I must. Good bye, Cyrus. I will return to the capital and prepare the evacuation.”
Cyrus sat upon the hilltop as the royal advisor, Li, left. Li feared the worse, it was why Cyrus enjoyed his company, a different perspective from his own was good at times.
“How silly can a man be, eh Brother?” Ahmose patted his childhood friend on the back. “Don’t worry, We’ll be standing a few hundred strong tomorrow.”
The next day
Cyrus and Ahmose alone stood before the Gi’Youins and their massive numbers. Their envoy approached with a scroll of surrender. “Cyrus, your armies have deserted you, and you will soon be dead unless you sign this treaty and surrender you~” His words were cut short as his throat was split into two. Cyrus walked forward a few paces with a broad smile upon his lips. “It is a real shame” His voice was projected across to the entire army before him. ”That there are so few of you. We three should have no problem.”
With the end of his statement a massive flurry of arrows began to rain down upon the Gi’Youin soldiers. Cyrus pushed forward, drawing both of his swords from his side and with lightning speeds began to slice through the people who opposed him. Ahmose bounced on his feet, giving Cyrus a head start before leaping into the air and slamming his elementally charged fist down into the middle of the crowd, sending a shockwave that obliterated the enemies around him in a 20 foot radius. Ahmose spun around and launched thousands of ice spikes from his forearms.
Cyrus dodged arrows as he ran through the army. His arms were a blur of blue and silver, the sound of the wind being pushed by the thin blades rang through the air. He regrouped with Ahmose in the center and together they created a magical shell for protection. The Gi’Youins rushed them, trying to crack the shell, but those around were slain by another volley of arrows coming from the Tian the Thousand Arrow. Her arrows were tipped in a substance she called white matter, making them extremely sharp and dense. After the volley Cyrus emerged from the shell and with a blade attack that sliced through 1000 men.
The battle lasted the entire day. The three warriors glowed red in the light of the setting sun, their blood stained bodies like demons stood alone on the landscape.
