The library was quiet except for the click of nails on the floor. An overgrown white bengal tiger sniffed at a set of stairs. They seemed to lead upward as blue eyes looked up at a door. Feeling the feather like weight on her head she started climbing up the stairs as they creaked. Lashing her tail slightly to the right she got to the door and sniffed at it. Staring at the door she managed to open it with her paw and gently pushed it open.
Padding into the hallway she looked at the metal. It looked hollow. Tilting her head she walked over to one of them and sniffed at the helmet. Before she could think better of it she licked the metal helm. She decided it tasted funny and slightly of dust. Walking past the metal figure she managed to stick her nose in every nook and cranny as she explored.
…............
Dewdrop was sitting on Keera’s head and playing her little flute quietly. As Keera entered Eirika’s loft, she stopped playing the flute and put it away in her bag. She backed away from the helmet Keera licked, it contained Iron. Dewdrop tapped Keera’s ear, causing it to twitch she then said “Remember, we’re here to give the cookies to Eirika, then we have to leave”
Dewdrop pulled a little plate from her bag and centered it on Keera’s head, she then used a little dust to make it normal people sized; There was now a plate with 10 chocolate-chip-pumpkin cookies arranged on it in a circle. She knew Eirika was in here somewhere, but she’d also heard on a ‘Veronica’ who lived her that scared people; she’d decided that she’d be brave and find Eirika in this cool maze. As Keera wandered Dewdrop called out “Hello!! Eirika are you here? I brought something for you!”

With not a word of warning, the large white Bengal tiger was lifted from the floor and slammed into the nearby wall. There, she was pinned by the same unseen force that had thrown her. At the same time, a small iron ring clamped around the leg of dewdrop, causing her to weaken and fall into Veronica's waiting hand. (This is what I assumed would happen. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll change it)
"How nice: a new lamp and throw rug all in the same day. I wonder if Eirika will enjoy the new decor." Walking over to where Keera was pinned to the wall, a plume of black smoke appeared beneath the girl leaving behind a small end table with a black cage on top. Humming an eerie tune to herself, Veronica opened the cage and tossed the small fairie inside. As she shut it, the iron ring dissolved away as the cage's strange magic diffused dewdrop's glow outwards. Veronica crossed her arms and took a step back, appraising the scene like one might a newly decorated room.
"How splendid." She said in a dry sarcastic tone. Holding out her left hand, the plate of cookies appeared. She casually took one and began eating.

As Keera was lifted and thrown Dewdrop jumped off to hover, but immediately felt a burning pain around her left ankle as the iron ring appeared. Her magic dimmed and she dropped like a stone into Veronica’s hand, her glow nearly gone from the iron. She reached down to try to remove the ring and burned her hands in the process. As Dewdrop was tossed into the cage and landed she sat up and turned to glare at Veronica and froze “a Raíña Escura...” (the dark queen...her name to the fairies) she said staring at Veronica in fright. She was face-to-face with the devil, literally. What if she’s hurting Eirika? Dewdrop thought; She stood up looking at Veronica and said You spotted snakes with double tongue, Thorny hedgehogs, be not seen; Newts and blind-worms, do no wrong, Come not near our fairy queen. Dewdrop then collapsed again and looked at her arms and dress; her glow was gone! She heard Keera growling and turned to look at her, looking up at her through the bars. “Keera, are you ok?” Dewdrop was a mad that Veronica was hurting her friend and eating the cookies that were meant for Eirika. Dewdrop could feel that the cage was neutralizing most of her magic, but that didn't stop her from glowing a red color, she was accidentally using her fire affinity and was heating up, it would have melted the cage if the cage wasn't made of darkness. ----------------- Keera had just stuck her nose around a corner when she was lifted up and slammed into a wall. Letting out a roar of pain she searched until she found the source. The source was also torturing her fairy! Growling at the woman in black she showed her teeth. BEfore long Dewdrop was tossed in a cage below her. Looking down at her fairy she wondered why the bars weren’t melting since she could feel the heat from Dewdrops affinity. Blinking she wondered if maybe Dewdrop was too cold. Watching from above she used her long tail to wrap it around the cage and maybe warm up Dewdrop a bit.
Looking around she wondered why the woman had attacked them. Maybe she was in heat and didn’t want others in her territory. Keera blew a breath of air out trying to figure this out. She decided that the woman in black must definitely be in heat. And her and Dewdrop had wandered into her territory while she was trying to attract a mate. Or maybe she wasn’t.........Things in the academy seemed to work differently than the jungle.
Suddenly a light went on in her head. Eirika must be her young! Yes it all made sense now. Eirika was the woman in blacks child. Maybe they should have waited at the entrance of the den. That would have kept them from being attacked. Going limp in the unseen force holding her to the wall she looked at the woman in black wondering if she was really gonna skin her or kick them out.

"Oh my, how scary!" Veronica exclaimed sarcastically in regards to dewdrop. Walking over to a desk where a number of books were piled, she set down the tray of cookies and clapped her hands together to remove the crumbs. Turning, she lay her left arm across her chest and settled her right elbow on top of it, holding her chin in contemplation. "So tell me firey little fairie, what mischief did you intend to indulge yourself with in this loft with the tiger girl in tow?" Veronica held her arms out in a shrug as though she couldn't understand something.
"If I weren't so understanding of a person, the moment I saw a large tiger invading my house I would have killed it on the spot! Who knows what sort of danger it could pose to my loved ones."
