Soleth walked out to the ring as his name was called. He had met Taighlour before but it had been long. He avidly remembered the chain that attached the Twins and suspected that he would indeed have to fight both at the same time. “No matter. This should be interesting.”

The announcer walked out into the center of the stage and began to explain the rules. “If you win, you do it by knockout of the ring, forfeit or killing the other person. Wait... I mean unconscious, knocked unconscious. Now when out other contestant gets here we can begin.”
Taighler and Taylour stood up from the benches and hand-in-hand, walked into the stage. Soleth will be a more difficult opponent to beat, but we can do it. Where’s Sophia though, we thought she’d be here The crowd cheered some as the twins entered the ring, though a few boo’d them, mostly the one who had been the butts of their pranks. They simply smiled and waved at the crowd. The twins each pulled out two swords, ready to begin. They dipped into a theatrical bow and gestured at Soleth “Ladies first.” They finished as the stood up again. They were referring to the fact it was Sophia’s body....but the crowd would all believe they were simply taunting Soleth. …................................................
”So it would seem.” Soleth remarked from the center of the stage. He decided to provide some fan service to the crowd and removed his shirt, revealing a very well sculpted body. The ladies and men of the crowd who found the male body attractive began to cheer for the ‘hot bod’ as they called it. Soleth smiled and waved to the fans.
The twins grinned as Soleth took off his shirt. they turned to each other, dropping their sword and said “Let me help you with your shirt Taighlour, you look uncomfortable.” They both said as they unbuttoned each others shirts in a fabulous show of twincest and tossed them to the crowd, mostly aimed at where Clover was sitting.
The announcer smiled and began again.
”This is a fine turn out. My name is Ajax and I will be the referee for this match. Once again, the rules are, 1) you fight till you drop. If you give up, wimp out or call for your mother in agonizing pain. You lose. If you are knocked out of the arena, then you should give up on life, because you lost. And if you are KOed, then you have no choice but to lose. Because I said so. Now, killing moves are allowed, weapons are allowed but don’t pansy out with a gun. Now, lets get this show on the Road!
To my left we have Soleth Holmes! The ace detective who has put more that 1000 criminals behind bars with his masterful skills! He is a student of the Li’Hian Imperial arts, disciple of Professor Roy Foxheart, who learned from one of the Li’Hian Demons, the great Ahmose the Brave! Now to my right we have the two who have been called the Taunting Duo! The Devil Twins! Masters of Pranks and Mischief! The Twins Taighler and Taylour Cielifreann! Now, our twins here can’t leave each other’s sides, they have registered together as a registered contestant. Yes folks! They are allowed to fight two on one with Mr. Holmes! But if either falls into one of the previously mentioned loss categories, they both lose!”
The crowd began to cheer for the twins as they took another artistic bow at having all their names listed off. The announcer could feel the energy of the crowd and decided it was time. “Ok, Lets get this PARTY STARTED!” He raised his arm high in the air, making eye contact with both Soleth and the Twins.
“HAGIME!” ---------------------------------------------------- Soleth took in a deep breath and placed himself into a fighting stance. Roy had taught him well, but there were still things he had to learn. His spirit powers would not aid him in the battle. Soleth took a single step forward before taking off at full speed with his hands placed in his pockets. He quickly closed the distance between them and launched an incredibly fast left jab at the golden eyed twin.
Taighler and Taylour both grinned as they separated hands and each teleported 3 feet away. “You’ll have to do better than that.” The twins both lifted their hands and two of the dropped swords flew into Taighler’s hands, as he clutched them they both lit on fire. “Our turn”
Taighler came at Soleth from his left side and swung his swords in an X-pattern directed at Soleth’s chest. Taylour meanwhile moved the earth of the stage creating a 3-inch tall wall behind Soleth’s feet so that if he backed up he’d trip. It was difficult to tell which twin had which power because when one’s brow wrinkled in concentration, so did the other twins.
Soleth slid his foot backwards, feeling the pressure from the stone wall. He smiled, as he leaned backwards and dodged the flame blades by a slim margin. His foot rose to counterbalance his lean, but also acted as a front kick aimed at Taighler’s solar plexus.
A third blade moved to block the kick with it’s broadside.
Soleth used the resistant force of the kick to plant his foot firmly on the ground. He leaned into his strike and launched three punches at blinding speed, left, right, left. His hands however appeared to the crowd to have never left his pockets.
Taighler stepped back to dodge the punches, they’d almost hit him. he’s fast, we need to be careful of his speed...why isn’t he using his spirit energies though.... Taylour said from behind him “You’re fast. but why aren’t you using your spirit energies? You’re restraining yourself” Taylour removed the wall from behind Soleth, but created a large gust of wind and shot it at Soleth’s back, he was hoping to push Soleth forward into Taighler, who had all 3 blades ready to attack, one swung left, one swung right, and one swung right again to throw of the pattern. ….......................
Soleth rolled forward and to the left as the gust of wind began to push on his back. He dropped his head as he finished the roll, barely dodging the first left swing and leaning backwards to avoid the first right. He however lifted his hand and was scorched slightly as the flames passed by.
”Trust me. You don’t want me to use my spirit abilities.” Soleth claimed as he did a barrell roll the to side and stood up. His hand healed with the words of a quick magical spell and he replaced them into his pockets. Bouncing on his toes he looked left and right, getting the position of both twins in his head. Soleth dashed forward and sent out a right jab at Taighler, with no intention for him to hit and passed the twin to attack Taylour with 4 punches from this left hand.
Taighler ignored his jab entirely, Taighler was reading Soleth’s mind, and was able to anticipate every move he made; he was sending the information to Taylour, but even their telapathy wasn’t quick enough to warn them of everything. Taylour dodged to the left and dodged 3 of the punches, but he stepped in to soon and took the last one to his right cheek. He fell down before getting up again and wiping the blood from his mouth. The twins quickly teleported in a circle headed opposite direction, wrapping Soleth in the chain and pulling tight, intending to trap Soleth in the chain and knock him over with a powerful gust of wind.
Soleth tried to follow Taylor as he fell to the ground, but the silver eyed twin got up too quickly and teleported away. It made him feel slightly strange however, and soon he was feeling the pull of the chains around his ankles. A trap. Soleth stood there with his arms bound to his midsection, about the height of their hands with a disappointed look on his face.
”You really want me to use my spirit energy?” he said as the gust of wind pushed him towards the ground. He rolled and returned to his feet.
“We won't force you... to do something you don’t want to.” They said as Soleth regained his feet. they both pulled the chain again and Taighler swung at him with both blades again, both from the left.
Soleth laughed. The twins had him, leaving the choice to him. ”What the hell. You only live once. Or so they told me.” Soleth vanished from the chains and reappeared on the other side of the arena. His body began to glow with arcane runes, a bright whitish blue color as he gained a large smile on his face. Soleth replaced his hands to his pockets and began walking towards the twins. His body split into two separate Soleth, one made purely out of spirit energy. Soleth A dashed towards Taylor while Soleth B attacked Taighler.
The twins smiled as Soleth teleported out of their chain. May be we should not have encouraged him...but this will be fun They blinked as Soleth split into two. Each twin now had their own Soleth to fight. One of them is pure spirit energy...but which one? He’d send the real one after what he felt was the more dangerous twin. Taighler has the spirit twin, it’s thinking differently then he has been
The twins stood in such a way that they could see each other while they were fighting their Soleths. Taighler pulled all 4 swords to himself to fight with; all 4 swords swung at Soleth B, two from the left, and two from the right, but they came from opposite corners, creating a rapidly shrinking box of blades on Soleth. as the swords passed each other (or hit) one sword from each side (the two in his hands) reversed direction to swing at Soleth again.
Taylour faced off with Soleth A; Taylour could hear every thought Soleth had, and would use them to his advantage. He pulled up 4 large stones and pushed them all together in a similar fashion to how Taighler’s swords were operating. the other two swords from Taighler’s fight came down from above to hit Soleth if he dodged above the rocks.
Soleth B dashed straight through each of the sword strikes. While each “hit” him, he appeared unaffected and simply reformed after the flaming blade had passed through him. Amazingly, Soleth’s mind was strong enough to control both bodies independently at the same moment. Soleth B sent a barrage of punches and kicks for Taighler as he stepped into striking range, yet each strike sent out a blast of spirit energy that recirculated back into his body after hitting or missing. It was Professor Roy’s main skill, Lux Luso Ken, modified for Spirit control.
Soleth A on the other hand began playing the dodging gave with Taylour. Quickly realising that Taylour was reading his motions, he focused on thinking about random things. 20 different attack patterns for himself alone rushed through his head before he abruptly chose one to use. All of his attacks were punches, accelerated by a mixture of his hand leaving his pocket and the acceleration of his spirit energy inside his body. The skill was the same as Soleth B, Lux Luso Ken, modified for Spirit control.
--- Both twins watched as Soleth B reformed around each attack you distract him, I’ll handle Soleth A They thought and strategized together. Taylour teleported two more swords into the arena and threw them into the air, where they were ‘caught’ and brought back down to attack Soleth A. It was clear the twins had figured out which Soleth was real, and they were going to focus their attacks on him. Taighler stopped trying to hit Soleth B, and focused on dodging backwards out of the spirit attacks, he blocked one with his sword, and teleported back beside Taylour as the energy flowed around it to continue towards him, he was inches away from being hit in the face by the spirit energy watch that energy! It’ll really hurt if it hits
Taylour pulled the rocks back as Soleth dodged them and dropped them, he tried a similar attack with air, but the gust came from above to crush Soleth.
Soleth A had formed a barrier of Spirit energy above his body to block the two new swords. He released the barrier to focus on Taylour and the newly materialized Taighler, leaving himself open for the blast of air that came down from above. Soleth threw his hands down onto the ground to keep himself for laying flat on his stomach from the gust. need to exit, now he thought. Soleth looked over to his clone and swapped positions with it. The clone allowed the wind to pressed into into the arena and disappeared from sight. The light blue energy flowed back into Soleth A who was standing 20 feet from the twins.
”Are you having fun?” he asked with a stoic expression.
Soleth began to walk forward. His hands resting in his pockets. His trademark fighting style caused the crowd to erupt into cheer, the confidence he radiated off his body was sugar to the people who were nearly shouting their lungs out for the three combatants. Soleth smiled and created three clones of himself who walked in line with him. ”Now, I’ll ask you again. Do you really want me to use the full extent of my power?” The three Soleth clones attacked both twins, jumping between each with a pattern of attacks similar to Taighler’s three sword style from the start of the match. left right right.
The twins smiled “We’re enjoying ourselves greatly thank you for asking.” They watched as Soleth created 3 clones of himself and sat back to watch them fight. “Of course we want to win,but we don’t want you to regret your decision to not use them, after all you only get one life to live”. The twins simply teleported away from the clones as they moved to attack the twins, teleporting across the stage back besides the original Soleth. “Besides, you might bring out someone we know; We have a lot of friends that you may be an acquaintance off.” Taighler swung 4 of his swords through the clones, two from each side to distract them, and swung the other two in his hands at Soleth as the blades switched from fire, to sending out more blades of wind.
Soleth smiled and raised his hands. The clones returned from their battle and were absorbed into his body. ”I’ll find someone you might know.” Soleth’s mind went into the spirit world where he quickly summoned to himself a woman who went by the name of Marie. She was a battle mage who specialised in the use of knives and frost magic. Soleth pulled her soul from the spirit world and brought it into his body. The runes on his skin glowed bright and shifted as her skills and abilities were integrated into him. His clothing transformed into Jedi style robing and his hands were filled with two glowing kukuri. ”Hello, boys. It’s been a while.” The judges began to speak about what just happened. A shaman they had with them remarked on the new soul entering the arena. Checking against the rules they quickly came to a decision. Informing the announcer, Ajax quickly rushed out into the middle of the stage. “Hold the fight! Hold the fight! Soleth Holmes! By bringing another soul into the battle, you have broken the rules. As such, you have magically found a fourth way to lose! By bringing in outside help! Because you are no longer using your skills to win the match, you have been disqualified from the tournament!” Soleth stood with his mouth wide open. The crowd booed at the poor call by the judges, but Ajax gave them a stern look. Soleth raised his hand and announced ”I’ve broken the rules, and so I must admit defeat. The Twins have... defeated me with logic. They understood the rules better than I and coaxed me into breaking them. I congratulate them.” Taighler and Taylour grinned as he begun channeling another spirit, but their grins disappeared as they realized who he was channeling. Marie greeted them with a grin on her face and that gleam in her eye that always caused the twins to shiver. They both just sat down on the stage and looked at her for a moment before approaching her and reclutching each others hands. It would be clear to anyone that this new spirit was the cause of their distress. The twins each took one of Soleth’s hands as he regained control of his body to congratulate him, in his head they whispered we didn’t know that was against the rules, we thought it was allowed, we’re sorry They each shook one of his hands before turning to the gathered crowd and saying “We are glad to have won, but we did not know that his Soul Merge was against the rules. He was a great opponent and would have defeated us if allowed to use his soul merge.” Soleth gave a respectful bow to the twins. His clothing had returned to normal with the exit of Marie’s spirit and the runes on his body were gone. He turned to Ajax and shook his hand before stepping out of the ring and entering the participants retreat where he took a seat and created another shirt for himself. ”That was a very interesting outcome. Damn. this means that Luca has won the wager.”

Clover had been watching the whole thing as Soleth merged with Marie. It wasn't hard to figure her out since she greeted them and the possessive glint was there in her eyes. As the twins lost their smile and took each others hands Clover was already standing up in her seat. Watching as the man named Ajax ran out of the referee section she blinked and wondered why he was calling for things to wait. Once he declared the twins the winner by broken rules she was moving through the bleachers until she could jump into the ring. As people started to exit the stands while Clover rushed up to the twins. Looking from one twin to the other she swiftly pulled them into a hug.

The twins turned and returned the hug they received from Clover, giggling as Apple tried to sneak out to hug them too. On the outside they were smiling, they were glad to win, but they didn’t really like how they’d won. we shouldn’t have won, with his soul merge he would have beaten us… “Well, we’ve won our first fight, now you have to win yours.” they said to Clover as they ended the hug. They each took one of her hands and they turned to exit the stage.

Clover held them close for just a second longer before allowing Apple to hug them. Placing Apple on her head she took their hands and gave their hands a gentle squeeze. "Don't let it get you down about the way you won. You had no idea it was against the rules. Thats the last time I let you off with only reading the rules once." She planned to win in her match. Quietly she left the stage with them.
