The bell rang and the last of Miss Cheshire's students managed to shuffle their way through her door, most of them trudging as they anticipated another brutally volatile lesson. "C'mon, hurry up and get in here already," the grimalkin growled from her desk as she sifted through some papers. "I don't have all day."
As soon as the last student slowly walked through the door, Kye made a motion with a flick of her wrist that made the door slam shut behind them, startling them into a scurried rush to their seat. Standing up from her desk, chewing a stick of pocky, Kye made her way over to the chalkboard, and having picked up the obvious tool affiliated with the board, chalk, proceeded to jot down several highlights of the class that had been discussed the last few weeks.
Rune Circles, Mantra, Voodoo, Curses, Charms, Phantasms, Alchemy, Mana/"MP" (that last one a display of whatever sense of humor the devil cat possessed that wasn't based on the concept of setting someone on fire.)
"As you all know," she started as she wrote, "Your finals for this semester are coming up, and I, being so blessed with the duty in preparing you Magics portion of it, get the opportunity to make sure at least 75% of you pass it this year. Hooray."
Beside her list of highlights, her arm moved in quick, precise, fluid motions, drawing out a sort of design within a circle. "So..." As she finally finished, she spun around to face the class, tapping the rune circles center as she asked, "Who can tell me what this does, when it was discovered, and who discovered it?"

Luna was one of the first in the classroom, taking a corner seat in the back, not wanting to deal with her fellow students at the time. she was here to study, and study alone. Immediately her notebook and pen were in her hand as she stared at the chalkboard waiting for class to start.
Luna tuned out the talk of finals, to avoid thinking about them and stressing herself out. But as her teacher started drawing the intricate designs in the circle and asking her question, Luna immediately began flipping through her notebook to find the answer.
"Rune circles," She muttered to herself as quietly as possible, "rune circles, rune circles, where are my notes on rune circles?"
She glanced around the class, wondering if anyone was going to speak, but everyone remained silent, and Lune just opened a fresh page, pen in hand to write down the new information, while twirling a loose strand of her red hair.
