Keera watched him sigh and had a feeling she needed to get the dictionary to carry around with her. Soon though he smiled putting her slightly at ease. Keera looked down at him as he followed her up the tree as she stopped on a branch near a rather large hole. Inside the hole was several owlets whom stirred as they sensed Keera's predatory nature. One watched her with cautious eyes as the other two back up further into the hole.
"So your mated but not. Okay." Holding out a couple of worms as a peace offering to the largest owlet she kept herself from meeting their eyes so she didn't scare by making them think she was hunting them. When Luca asked her why she was out in the forest she looked at him. "I miss my home. Though I am learning so much here, I still miss my home where I don't have to learn anything new. That I know how it works. So I thought maybe I could come out here. It helped sort of."
Keera winced as the braver of the three bit her finger as he took the worm from her. Holding out a few more worms she smiled watching them out of the corner of her eye. "Would you like to try feeding them?"

”Exactly” Luca confirmed as Keera commented. He looked into the hole and smiled at the owls. His brain questioned when Keera had picked up the worms, maybe she carried them on her? He could easily find out but it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Luca shifted his gaze to Keera’s eyes, then the worms she held in her hand. ”Why not?” He took the worms and reached into the hole, then dropped them before the owls. ”These ones are still fed by their mother. . . Their mother should be here. . . She will be back soon.”
Luca dropped off the tree and landed with a thud on the ground. He stood up and shook out his limbs as they vibrated. I should have climbed down, or used stronger magic to brace the fall. He thought as he looked back up. ”I don’t like being pecked by owls much, so I’ll wait for you down here.”

Keera made room as he looked in on the owls. Keera chuckled as he took a worm and fed it to the owlets whom had warmed up to the pair. Hearing him say the mother would be back soon her tuned her ears to the air as she listened. Dropping the rest of the worms into the little den she jumped off the branch and swung herself from branch to branch before landing in a crouch in front of Luca.
Standing she smiled at him. "So long as you don't harm them the mothers are generally forgiving. I would like to show you my forest sometime. Its much larger with larger trees." Happily she walked off in a random direction listening to the sounds of the forest letting it sooth the sadness for her home away. She would go back one day. Someday.

”Sounds like a nice place. You’ll have to escort me around it some time.” Luca placed his hand on Keera’s shoulder and watched at the mother owl returned to the nest.
”And the mother returns. She looks tired. Being nocturnal must be tiring.” Luca began walking forward. Looking around at the bounty of the forest.

Keera smiled at him and started following him around. "what brought you out here? He had asked her but she had yet to ask him. She was curious. Letting scents waft passed her nose she happily tagged along side him. Despite tigers being solitary creatures, Keera had come to like having others around. Such as Dewdrop, Luca, Jena, and sometimes Horo. Though sometimes Horo scared her with all the confidence the girl exuded.
