Soleth returned to the gym.
"What an interesting sight to behold." Soleth nearly sung as he walked around the side of the court. He blinked and focused his eyes onto people's spirits. "Every single Erebus clone has a part of his spirit... No, there is one different... It is reversed. He can mirror his own soul and thus create multiple versions of himself. I wonder if I can do that. What do you think Sophia?"
The spectral woman dropped down from the rafters and placed her hand on his shoulder. "I think it is dangerous to try a spell like that. You could mess yourself up, or worse, me!" Sophia pushed Soleth to the side giggling. "Remember, that's my body you're using Sol!" she taunted. "I know. I'll never forget that I'm dead, don't worry."
Sol moved his head to the side as a ball flew past. "I'm in the danger zone... Soleth walked around the court and behind Erebus as he retaliated to Mikura's assault with a non nonchalant look on his face, dodging any rouge balls coming his way. He reached the other side of the court when something made him feel on edge. Giving the body over to Sophia, Soleth went to investigate.
Sophia dashed onto the court across from River and grabbed a ball. "INCOMING!" she said cheerfully as she tossed the ball at the out of place girl. Another student from River's side tossed a ball at Sophia, but she quickly spun around and kicked the ball back into the kids face. "Like a BOSS!" She chanted as he fell to the ground. She redirected her attention on River who hadn't been hit by her ball. "Come on! I love a challenge!" she cried as she flung two more balls at River.
Soleth walked around outside the gym, through the spirit world when he saw it. The spirit of his only friend and worse enemy. "Luca..." Luca walked through Soleth's spirit and smiled. "Hello Sol. I passed Master Eleazar's test. You'll be seeing me around much more often. Tell that cute wife of yours I said hi, and that she looks much better as a woman... What a waste of her body." Luca's long red hair flowed behind him as he walked towards the fields. Soleth gritted his teeth as Luca's soul left his field of view.
"This is an interesting development..."

River had paused to watch Mekura and Erebus’s game, letting out a small gasp when twenty balls flew at Mekura she dodged them all, and she sent twenty balls flying back at the boy. River saw Soleth re-enter the gym and saw Sophia float down from the rafters to say hi to the boy. [i/ If she’s talking to him then he must be nice. Wait, did she just float into his body and…a different ghost left. That’s kinda scary. [/i] Then the boy ran onto the court and threw a ball at her, she sidestepped it and dodged. Then the boy threw two more balls at her, she fell into the splits again to dodge both of them. She stood up and switched Arthur to her other arm She leaned down and picked up a stray ball ”Ok…b-b-but what if I h-hit him and h-he gets hurt…a-are you sure it’s ok?” River threw the ball aiming to hit the boy in the chest, however, she’d accidently used some of her speed affinity “Oops, I-I-I think I threw it a little too hard…a-and a little too fast.”

(OOC: So, reason behind him being all wound up like this: I figured this happened before the whole beyond the wall stuff where he was able to vent all of his frustration with his predicament. If Mekura doesn't excuse him from class shit will prolly get real.)
Erebus outstretched his arm, attempting to take hold of the shadows in the ball once again. Realizing he couldn't, as it had been saturated with light, he took a step back, grabbing one of the balls on the floor behind him and preparing to dodge. Dropping into a low stance, his heart rate accelerated slightly, and a moment before dodging, he hesitated. As the ball rocketed straight towards him, a feint look or surprise dawned his face.
And then the ball passed straight through him.
At the very instant all twenty images of himself were interrupted by Mekura's throw, the true Erebus was releasing his powerful wind up. As the ball left his hand, the shockwave as it broke the sound barrier would be visible to any watching, but for Mekura, even if she had her cameras on, the lag in the signal would be all the time the ball needed to reach her. The ball crossed the small-by-comparison court in a fraction of a second flying at mach three(three times the speed of sound). From it's shadow, the rest of the balls that had been on Erebus's side of the court followed, phasing into existence in a staggered fashion and spreading out at the same speed as the first. As they were all moving faster than sound, the only warning Mekura would receive would be in the form of some supernatural sixth sense she might posses, and even then it would be a strain on her body to try dodge that many balls moving that fast.
The balls, simple gym equipment as they were, would cause noticeable damage to any structure they happened to encounter, and would likely disintegrate from the friction of their own rotation upon hitting a solid object. Erebus didn't care anymore. He had reached his limit for attempting to fit into classes for the rest of the day. Between studying each and every student, and the teachers as well, maintaining a low profile but not low enough to be considered absent, and dealing with the headmaster's constant harassment, Erebus was fed up.
If Mekura attempted to continue the game after that throw, it would be a game no more.
Erebus would release his chains.

Mekura knew the moment the ball the ball had passed straight through all of the Erebus's. Her eyes widened as she dropped all barriers on her senses and barely managed to dodge the balls flying at her. Feeling one hit her side she swiftly bent the light around herself hiding the wound that Erebus had caused from his throw and replacing it with the image of just her shirt being torn. Putting a smile on her face she clapped her hands. "Alright. Erebus you win. You no longer have to attend class but it would be nice if you would show your face ever now and them." Checking the time through her wave length she knew it was a bit early but she needed to see Chrystaline before she worsened the wound on her side. Her mind was already racing through excuses as to how she got it.
Turning to the students on the courts she used her sound affinity to get her voice loud and all over the gym. "Alright. Everyone pick up the equipment and get dress. Afterwards you may go. If you need me I will be in my office. I will know if you don't pick up the balls." Turning to Erebus she gave him a smile before heading to her office which she had had built near the door to the gym. Once in her office she shut her door and leaned against her desk before releasing the light she had shifted around herself. Pulling her shirt off she tossed it in the garbage as it was ruined from the ball and now the blood soaking it. Gently she felt the edges of the wound and winced as she realized the boy had managed to take an inch out of her side which was quickly soaking her pants in blood. Brushing her fingers against a clean spot on her pants she searched through her cupboards and found the first aid kit.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ash slowly stood up and left the chimeras in a little pile together to sleep. Moving around she helped the others gather some of the balls. Glancing at the boy, Erebus she watched him. He seemed as if he was at his wits end with stress. It may not be see-able to the untrained eye but he was throwing off subtle hints. Glancing over him once more she walked past him grabbing balls as she went. Placing them in a bag one of the students was holding she quickly went back out for more.
Alex stood up lazily before grabbing two balls and returning them to the bag. Looking at Erebus she arched a brow before calling out to him. "Erebus! We need to have lunch at some point again. Bridgit wants to talk to you again." With that she headed toward the locker room with several others. Quickly she was out again though this time Bridgit was out in her pink dress and white high heels. Skipping she headed to her class singing something that sounded dark and creepy.
Ash helped the others place the bags in the storage room before heading to the locker room also. She was in and out quickly and moved to get her Chimeras. Picking up Mizu she set the puppy in her coat pocket and pick up Rue and Shiro as Snow stood and walked sleepily beside her. She would drop them off in the dorm before going to the cafeteria to get lunch and bringing it back to them.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Mekura finished bandaging her side. That would have to do until she could get to Chrystaline. Quickly she pulled on new clothes almost exact replicas of the ones she had on before. She didn't like to worry students when she had gotten hurt. Not that it happened often. Usually when she wasn't paying attention or when a student surprised her. Feeling her senses still on full she sat in her chair dizzy. Reigning them in she pulled herself together and his the bloodied clothes at the bottom of her trash can until she could take it to an incinerator. Planning her chat with Soleth in her head she hoped the boy wouldn't take long. Well she should also figure out a way to punish him for almost getting his soul killed.

Sophia leaned back and dodged the two balls within a split second of being hit. Falling onto the floor from her sudden change in balance she kip up-ed back onto her feet and smirked. "You're pretty good!" She started before being interrupted by Mikura. Sophia sighed as the games ended and the balls were collected and restored to their resting positions. She followed the flow of girls back into the locker room without much thought.
"Soleth? Why are you in here?" a fourth year named Hanna asked. There was no irritation in her voice as she questioned 'him.' Snapping out of her daze Sophia looked around with a bit of surprise "I seem to have been lost in thought. Forgive my intrusion ladies." Soleth took a bow before turning to leave the dressing room. Hanna gave him a happy wave good bye as the door shut behind him.
Soleth looked up at the now floating Sophia, trailing behind him after being expelled from the body right before responding to Hanna. "I'm not angry with you Sophia. It seems that Luca has returned this semester."
Sophia gasped "Luca... Your red haired friend?"
Soleth nodded as he approached Mikura's building, forgoing even getting changed. With a knock on her door he responded. "Yes, if that is what you must call him." Soleth remembered back to the day he met Luca. "He is the bane of my existence."
Soleth walked into Mikura's office with a smile. "Hello Professor, I was wondering how blind you actually are and how powerful your hearing is. Some of the things you were doing don't make sense with what I have gathered your abilities are, so if you would please. Tell me about yourself."

River let out an audible sigh when Soleth dodged the balls, because even though he’d fallen he wasn’t hurt. When he said she was pretty good she smiled a little before burying her face in Arthurs fur. When Mekura called that class was over she snuck out before helping clean up any of the balls “We’d just be in the way Arthur. Come on, let’s go find our next class.” The group of girls passed her and she paused to look at them. “Hey Arthur, isn’t Soleth a boy? Why’d he go into the girls’ room?” When he walked back out she hid behind a corner. She watched as Soleth walked out of the girls’ room followed by Sophia. “Why is he going to talk to the teacher, is he in trouble? And who’s Luca, if Soleth doesn’t like him then he must be scary…But Sophia said they were friends, how can you hate a friend?” She asked to Arthur before turning and slowly walking off towards her next class.

Erebus paused, his appearance wispy and ephemeral like smoke. His eyes passed over Mekura and the damage to the wall behind her, awaiting her response. As she hid her wound and began to pretend that nothing had happened, the illusion faded. Turning he began to walk away.
"What a waste of time." He huffed to himself. Nodding to Alex, he said just loud enough for her to hear. "Perhaps another day."
With each step he took, Erebus sank farther and farther into the shadows of the floor beneath him until finally, he vanished from sight.

Mekura flipped open the wavelength to the gym and watched her students pick up the dodge balls as she stood and began putting away her medical supplies. Blinking as she sat down again, Mekura noted that Soleth had just walked into the girls locker room before quickly walking back out. Chuckling she decided that Sophia must have been in control. Crossing her left leg over her right she folded her hands in her lap and twitched when her right arm brushed up against the wound in her side.
Pushing the pain to the back of her mind as she had done so many time before she shut the wavelength off and waited for Soleth. When he knocked on the door she heard him speaking to whom she presumed to be Sophia. "You can come in." Opening up the wavelength to her hidden off camera's she watched Soleth walk in. He quickly jumped straight to the point, no beating around the bush for this boy. "How about we start with how you figure I'm blind and what you think you know about my abilities." Mekura took on the air of a prideful teacher who doubted the boys abilities of deduction and who obviously thought he was wrong. It was an air she had perfected over the time she had been here, cause it was fun pushing the students buttons. Plus she had a feeling that Soleth didn't like to be wrong.
Soleth cracked his knuckles and sat down in a nearby chair. He gave Mikura a look, as if asking 'do we really need to go through all of this?' but He saw the look in her eyes. With a sigh he began.
"For starters, how you are blind: When new things occur or happen that are not expected like a student slamming their head into a wall or entering a room, you turn your head towards the sound but not with your eyes as is characteristic of most visual beings but so that your ears are facing the direction of the sound. It always takes you a fraction of a second longer to respond to thing then the other teachers in calm situations because the speed of sound is slower than the speed of light and third, you rarely comment about things that you would need a visual for, like the shape of a person's face when describing them or a tattoo unless it is something important which leads to my next point that you must have an alternative form of sight.
I presume that you have an ability to control light in some form which is ironic because you can't see it naturally. No I have concluded that you can create illusions like the one on your side. I know that you are wounded, the blood stained clothing in the trash can are proof but no students were making comments on how you were injured which means that they could not have seen it. You were hiding it with your powers, but your powers can't hide the smell of blood. Do I need to continue?”
Soleth’s demeanor was assertive and sure.
Mekura blinked as he started the air of prideful teacher still about her. Seeing him looked at her she only arched her brow waiting for him to start. When he did she didn't even so much as twitch as he rattled off what he knew. Tilting her head as if he was spouting nonsense she realized that she would have to fix those mistakes. Being in this school had made her rusty. As he continued into how she could manipulate light she simply shrugged her shoulders. She had been in darkness long enough that the opposite was bright. Though it had taken her many many years to master how to create a ball of light instead of darkness.
Chuckling she made it sound as if she thought he was absurd. "Well getting hurt is part of the job. Oh yes. Please continue, and maybe explain why you think I haven't seen light naturally." She would have thought that he was one that didn't really care for assuming. How did he know if she had been blind her whole life or not?
Soleth placed the tips of his fingers together with a smile. ”Well I didn’t know until now, for sure if you had been blind for your whole life or not until you asked that question. Now that I do know, I don’t need to continue proving that you are blind, the reason of why you are doesn’t matter much to me at this moment. Onto your powers though, because you haven’t dismissed the ability to create illusions I can say for sure that you must also have another power that allows you to control the electronics in your gym and in other places at will with no control devices. This meaning then that you are either a technopath which the evidence doesn’t support or that your ability to control light extends past illusions and into the realm of electromagnetic waves. So then, judging by that, you probably have the ability to use those waves to project images into your head by the tiny cameras that I see every once in awhile. They are always in the gym but they are separate from the hidden security camera’s that I found while I was a first year, unless those ones I found were dummies and the small floating ones are the real security cameras. In that situation I could say that you examine the videos in some other matter to see.
You see Professor, I have the tool needed to find the information on my own, I just don’t wish to spend the time figuring out all the little details. So will you please tell me or must I go on still about how when you are around the sound barrier is rarely broken even though things fly faster than it? This implies that you have some control over the sound waves propagating off objects and that you have most likely gotten used to control the sound of such fast objects either to protect the ears of students or to conceal the movement of something so fast. This would also allow the super-human reactions you have during a fight such as that with Erebus, even though sound wouldn’t travel fast enough for you to notice in time you still did. Since I have already proven that you are blind, you must be able to control the waves of sound and thus through your power react.
Must I still continue, must I talk about your ability to see Sophia only when she wants to be seen? Your wound isn’t going to fix itself before ruining another bit of garments.
Mekura closed her eyes and listened to him as he again pointed out several errors in her ways. Of course this student had amazing powers of deduction. She would have to brush up on her reaction times though. It was probably time she also upgraded her camera's to something less seeable. As he continued on with her abilities she actually was quite interested in what he had to say. Definitely a child with remarkable skill. Opening her eyes she fixed him with a look as though she could seem him.
Seeing he had defeated her where many had failed she dropped the prideful teacher air and ended up just amused with a slight defeated air about her. "You must be the pride and joy of your linage. Clothes can be replaced. Alright I shall answer your questions since you're so curious Soleth. Oh and you have a week of detention starting tomorrow for almost getting yourself killed and leaving Sophia here by herself. Ask away now."
Soleth smiled ”Detention you say? So be it, will I be in there with the little fox girl?” Soleth smiled happily before leaning forward in his chair. ”To be to the point, I really would like to know the extent of your powers and if there are any little details that I’ve missed.”
Mekura listened to him talk and thought over his statement. Little details. How little was little? Guess the extent of my abilities wouldn’t be back to disclose, not like hes gonna run around telling everyone... Relaxing in her chair she simply closed her eyes and dropped the mental barriers on her hearing. One at a time cause all at once would drive her nuts. ”Near the wall is a pair of children playing tag while in the wall the off duty guards are playing a game of poker. The one named Ceil is Losing badly.” He could interpret that at will if he wanted. Simply throwing back up the barriers for sounds she dropped the ones for touch. Sitting calmly she waited for everything to sort itself out before feeling the movement of the muscles on Soleth’s body as if he was right next to her. Noting the muscles slightly tensed in his left foot she assumed it must be a pebble, which was not noticeable but annoying nonetheless. That would work. ”You have a what I’m assuming is a pebble in your left shoe under the arch.” Pulling back up the mental barriers she dropped the ones on smell, which honestly she didn’t really like too, plus it might have worked better if she had been outside. Blinking she ended up with a look of surprise on her face.
”Soleth....Is your body or did your body used to be Feminine? It was very obvious that she hadn’t been expecting that. Suddenly her mind ran through details that she missed and attempted to connect them. Pulling up the mental barriers on her sense of smell she waited for him to confirm it. She couldn’t possibly be wrong.
Soleth smiled and took his shoe off, removing the smallest speck of dust that had been the pebble Mikura had spoke of. ”That is impressive! I guess I will entertain your question as you have entertained mine. Yes, this is a woman’s body. The form of a man is a ruse that I was fortunate enough to create with my very soul. Allow me to show you.” Soleth took a deep breath and upon exhale his body reverted back into its true form. His voice reverted back to Sophia’s, thought it was still Soleth speaking. ”This is the real voice of this body. The real form. I am truly Sophia Holmes, your student from years ago. Because you could not see her spirit in full form, but only as an electromagnetic pulse, you probably didn’t notice.” Soleth took in another breath and as he exhaled his spirit energy cocooned the body and recreated his male form. ”So, if you would professor. Am I correct about your ability to see the electromagnetic spectrum and can you use it as I described with the cameras?” Soleth leaned forward ”I will continue to indulge the truth for you in return.”
Mekura sat up a bit straighter despite the tension it caused her wound as she listened. Her camera’s watched him as she awaited his explanation. The second the body reverted she took in the lines and Sophia’s wavelength form came to mind. It seemed to click the moment he had started to explain. It hadn’t been Sophia who died but Soleth. Sitting back amazed she thought about it. She was curious about his story and decided that maybe she would answer more of his questions. ”Alright. Sounds like a deal. Where I come from the ability is an affinity all its own called the Electromagnetic Wavelengths. It it creates a colorful world all its own, so in actuality I’m not really blind I just have a different way of ‘seeing’ than others. And the Camera’s do help.” Debating for a moment she weighed the pros and cons of it. Deciding that if he asked she would show him, it cost energy to actually show a person what the wavelengths looked like. Thinking back on the camera thing she wondered if it was alright that she left out the fact that she could also use his phone to ‘see’ with. ”Anymore?”
Soleth nodded as she spoke. ”That makes a lot of sense. I can understand how you do the things you do now. I have no more questions for you, so now all that is left is to tell you my side of the story. Sophia and I were investigating a crime when we were ambushed. I was shot dead while trying to protect Sophia. Afterwards she defeated the criminals and performed a spell to replace the soul in her body with the soul closest to her. This had all been a plan defined to her when she was still a child, so that I could achieve my full potential. My powers have developed as they have because I am a dead spirit existing extensively in the living world while Sophia remains a living spirit in the world of the dead. It was by her choice that this happened, I had no knowledge the spell was even being cast until I was entrapped in the circle. I was weary of being a woman at first, there are many things... that took adjusting too. But I live because she died and I will not let that go to waste.” Soleth stood up and gave Mikura a quick bow. ”I will leave you with that Professor. Good day.”
Mekura listened and let the story wrap around her head. Oh boy. Such a bad fate to befall the two love birds. ”Alrighty. Have a nice day also Soleth.” Sitting there she waited until he his footsteps faded before attempting to get up. Her wound had bled through the bandage. Great. Chrystaline was gonna get after her. Shifting the light around her right side she made the blood that was seeping into her shirt invisible to all she might pass in the hallway and headed to Chrystalines office. As she got to the door she knocked lightly and waited for an answer from Chrystaline.

As the door opened, Chrystaline's face dawned a looked of surprise as she glanced at a slip of paper in her hand. Sticking her head out into the hall, she looked both ways before ducking back into the room and pulling Mekura with her. Smelling blood Chrystaline's features shifted to one of concern.
"Show me." She all but commanded waiting for Mekura to dispel her illusion and remove her shirt. Gasping slightly, Chrystaline wasted no time, pulling Mekura gently over to a cushioned chair and easing her down into it. Kneeling down at her side, she immediately got to work with her magic, reconnecting blood vessels and slowly encouraging the skin to grow out.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Mekura, I should have come over sooner. I got the note saying you were injured and bleeding, but as it had no name on it I thought it was just a prank in bad taste." Looking ashamed, Chrystaline cast a charm to numb the pain. "Oh you poor thing. This looks like it stung quite a bit. How'd it happen?"

Mekura watched through a wavelength as Chrystaline looked surprised then at the paper. Being pulled in she blinked and wondered what the note said before her look turned to one of concern when she smelled the blood. Rolling her eyes she dropped the light illusion she was using and pulled off her shirt. Allowing Chrystaline to sit her down in the fluffy chair she waited as she started.
She had gotten a note. It had to have been Erebus. For none of the other students had seen or even guessed. Also Soleth was ruled out cause he had been talking to her until just a few minutes ago. And Chrystaline had said earlier. Giving her a gently smile she patted the younger woman's head. "Don't worry about it. It not like I'm in here all the time like the students so of course you doubted it. Plus it hardly hurts. I was splitting up a fight between two freshmen with out of control air affinities. Apparently one had lied about being hit with the dodge ball and refused to be out." The lie flowed naturally from her lips about where the wound had come from, though it wasn't all a lie. She had students with air affinities in her class and people had cheated today though no one had gotten out of control....cept Erebus, but that boy was a special case. She had challenged him and had lost. Oh well.

Giving her a suspicious look, it was clear that Chrystaline didn't fully believe the story, but didn't press her for any more details.
"Try to be more careful in the future." Chrystaline paused as she seemed to think about something. Her face scrunching into an expression of displeasure she amended her statement. "Though if that would mean handling things like Alvion, I'd prefer if you didn't." Sighing, Chrystaline shook her head.
"If it wasn't for how much he loved kids, I'd think he was enjoying himself a bit too much. I mean, who knocks students out cold before the fight even starts?!" Chrystaline looked up to Mekura to see if she was in agreement. "Who besides that guy?!"

Mekura didn't even give a hint that it was false as Chrystaline eyed her as if she didn't believe her. As she was reprimanded Mekura nodded her head and smiled happily. Suddenly Chrystaline launched into a rant about Alvion. It caused her to chuckle over the woman's obvious distress over the matter.
"Hes just a bit harsh. Though you and I both know hes hard on them so that they turn out to be excellent people in the future. Oh and speaking of kids. When are you two going to have some of your own?" The last line was spoken teasingly at Chrystaline. Talking with Chrystaline was always a pleasure especially since she could also tease Alvion.

Face scrunching into a pout, Chrystaline stood up, stomping over to a nearby table. Several vials floated to her from across the room as she began to grind several ingredients together.
"He's out patrolling every night, and by the time he gets home I'm either already asleep, or too tired to enact any of my schemes." There was a poof of smoke as Chrystaline angrily emptied the contents of a vial to the concoction she was making. "But don't you worry, I've got a few plans." Cackling wickedly, there was a flash of light as Chrystaline infused the mixture with a potent dose of her magic. "That stubborn man won't be able to help himself when I'm through with him." Bringing the mixture over, Chrystaline knelt down once again at Mekura's side. "This will sting at first but it will feel much better afterwards."
With a wave of her hand, the mixture flowed out of the mixing bowl and spread evenly along the damaged tissue on Mekura's side. As soon as it was all applied, Chrystaline brought out a role of sterile cloth and began wrapping it around Mekura's midsection.
"Take it easy for the next couple of days. After that you can take the bandages off and it'll be good as new." Smiling happily, Chrystaline stood up, holding her hand out to help Mekura up.

Mekura listened to the woman as she laid out the basics of her plan to keep Alvion in bed. Chuckling she listened to Chrystaline mix the concoction which had an interesting scent to it. Scrunching up her nose she relaxed again once Chrystaline returned to her side. "Well if after all your schemes have failed I will have to warn Alvion that I am going to steal you away. Such a beautiful Woman like you shouldn't be left to tend to those needs by herself." Mekura teased with a slight flirtatious note to it. Though she would never actually attempt to steal Chrystaline away from Alvion. She knew the two were in love.
Feeling the first hint of a sting she felt the need to push the slimy stuff away but crossed her arms and banished the childishness from her mind. As Chrystaline started to wrap her midsection she waited and wondered what she was gonna do with her shirt which had blood on it. Taking it easy obviously meant to probably not be traveling quickly. "Would you happen to have a new shirt?"

Putting her finger to her chin, Chrystaline thought for a moment.
"I think I have some surplus sweats. Let me check." Walking to a trunk in the room, Chrystaline dug through it, occasionally pulling something out to examine, before putting it back and digging around some more. Eventually finding something she was satisfied with, she stood up, bringing a large sweatshirt over.
"It's a bit big, but it'll work until you can get to a change of clothes."
